Your POV
You never had a good life,well...you did before when you were little but not anymore because of what happened that time you went out with your dad.

*past*
You were only eight years old at the time and you were going to the park with your dad because your mom had to stay late for work. It was getting late and more kids and parents were leaving the playground area where you guys were. You were playing on the slide while your dad was sitting on the bench on his phone texting your mom. While you were on the slide you decided to go to the swings instead but your dad wasn't paying attention to you so he just let you go to them.

What you didn't know is that their was a man standing near the gates of the playground that was watching you. Once you sat down on the swing you noticed the man that was walking towards you "hello there kiddo" he said making you uncomfortable "um...hi?" You said "it's getting a bit late to be here isn't it?" He asked "um well...my dad is over their so..." the man stood in front of you making you want to jump off the swing and run to your dad.

"Y/n!" You heard your dad call "Dad!" I said and you saw him turn towards you with a shocked expression as he walked over to you "excuse me but, what are you doing near my daughter/son/kid?" He said. (btw kid is basically like non binary if ur wondering)

"Oh,this is your child?" He said and your dad nodded "yeah so if you'll excuse me I'm going to take me daughter/son/kid away from y- before your dad could finish the rest of his sentence he was kicked back by the man and you gasped "dad!" You said.

The man walked over to him and got on top of him "hey! What the fuck are you-?! The man then pulled out a knife and began to stab your dad with it "DAD! DADDY! NO!" You screamed getting off the swing and crying your eyes out.

You wanted to run away but you didn't know where to go and it looked like no one was around to help you. Once the man got off your dad you saw the blood all over the floor and your father...dead.

You fell to the floor and the man looked at you "you're next bitch" he said lifting the knife up at you. He swung it down but you quickly moved but that didn't stop him. He hit the side of your mouth leaving a massive cut across the side of your face,it lead up to the corner of your mouth to your cheek.

You saw blood everywhere and you tried to scream but nothing came out. You saw the man lift his knife up at you but you heard voice of other people and sirens and that's when you passed out.

You woke up in a hospital room with your mother on the side of your bed looking at the floor "m...mom?" You tried saying but their was a bandage covering your mouth. Your mom looked up and you with a disgusted look on her face "m-mom? Where's dad?" You asked and she just looked at you.

"You little tramp" she said "wh...what?" You said "your dad is fucking dead" she said getting up and your eyes widened in fear "and it's all your fault..." your mother said leaning closer to you with an angry look "it's your fault for wanting to go to that goddam playground! If you didn't go their none of this wouldn't happen!" She said yelling at you making you cry a bit.

She left the room after leaving you their cry in the bed 'how is my fault? We didn't know that that guy was gonna be there' you thought to yourself.

After a few weeks passed you were let out of the hospital but not only with a big cut across your face. The doctors tried to fix it but they could only get a little bit of the cheek part done while the rest of your mouth was just split open so you had to wear a mask in order to cover it and it was a f/c (fav colour) mask.

Ever since then your mom has hated you and never talks to you. She hates you and you don't know whether to love her or hate her back. Well...you both will be moving to an apartments soon and let's just say you are not look forward to this.

(This felt a bit rushed but I really like this idea of a story and I hope to continue this one)
