Beacon Hills High School

Leo was at his locker getting books out. The doctors had told him he needed exposure therapy. They said it could help with recovering his memories. So far, nothing was working. Everyone was looking at him with pity and sympathy in their eyes and he hated it so much. He took a deep breath before closing his locker and getting a head start to his class since she needed time to find it. Liam and Mason are walking down the hallway just as an announcement is heard over the PA system. "Attention all students: Mr. O'Quinn's classes are canceled for today. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please let the office know immediately." A man said. Mason scoffed. "That doesn't sound too ominous." Mason said.

Suddenly, Liam sees Hayden down the hall by her locker, where Theo is standing close to her and whispering something into her ear. Liam stops in his tracks and scowls when he sees Hayden laughs at whatever it is that Theo said. Mason stops next to Liam and joins him in watching Theo, who clearly knows they're watching him and who is taking great pleasure in making Liam angry. When Mason sees Liam clenching his jaw in an attempt to quell his fury, he gets anxious about what Liam might do. "You said Scott told you not to do anything." Mason said.

Liam continues grinding his teeth and glaring at Theo and Hayden, not taking his eyes off of them as he responds to Mason. "I know." Liam growled. "Liam, you said you weren't gonna get involved." Mason said worried. "I know." Liam growled again. Liam and Mason watch as Theo and Hayden walk away, and it's obvious that Mason thinks Liam is going to start something with Theo. "Liam, don't get involved." Mason said.

In Ms. Flemming's math class, Theo is sitting in his desk among his fellow students, along with Leo while she takes attendance. "Has anyone seen Stiles, or Scott McCall? I can't be the only one who thinks it's slightly coincidental they're both sick on the same day?" Ms, Flemming asked. Ms. Flemming looks at her gradebook briefly before she continues. "And Lydia Martin wasn't in class today, either..." she added on. Theo smirks smugly as he speak up. "She won't be in for a while." Theo said. Several students and Ms. Flemming turn to look at Theo curiously, forcing him to elaborate on his comment. "Medical issues." Theo said.

Out in the hallway, Malia is passing by the classroom when she apparently hears what Theo has to stay. She stops outside the doorway and shoots him a glare, which Theo simply returns with a smirk. Malia then looked over at Leo. She saw how he was taking deep breaths and could hear his heart beating fast. She could smell the fear and anxiousness on him. She then walked away. Ms. Flemming told the class what they were doing and everyone got in with the work. Leo looked down at the paper in front of him and looked at it confused. He started breathing more quickly. Ms. Flemming noticed this and walked over to his desk and leaned down. "Do you need a minute outside?" She asked. Leo nodded. "Okay." Ms. Flemming said. Leo stood up from his desk and Ms. Flemming showed him outside.

He felt eyes on him but he didn't care enough to see who it was. Once they were out of the classroom, Leo took deep breaths. "When you're ready, just come back in. Okay?" Ms. Flemming said. Leo nodded. She looked at him sympathetically before walking back into the classroom. Leo put his back against the wall and slid down until he was sat on the floor. "Are you okay?" A voice asked. Leo looked over and saw Malia stood there. "Yeah, I'm fine." Leo said. He looked at her confused. "Who are you?" Leo asked. Malia could feel the hurt in her heart when he asked that but she knew it was t her fault. "Malia. I'm friends with Scott." Malia said. Leo nodded. "I'm guessing you already know who I am." Leo said.

Malia nodded. "Yeah. We're also friends." Malia said. "We are?" Leo asked. "Yeah. We were like brother and sister." Malia said. Leo smiled sadly. "I'm sorry I don't remember you." Leo said. Malia sat down next to him. "It's not your fault. Stuff like this happens." Malia said. Leo nodded. The two then sat in silence. It wasn't awkward, but it wasn't comfortable either. "I might just skip the rest of the day. Hide out in the library." Leo said. "Why not just go home?" Malia asked. Leo shrugged. "I'm scared that I won't make it back and that I'll get lost." Leo said. Just then, he started looking through Malia's mind. "You're actually my sister, aren't you?" Leo asked.
