"Just because somethingis right in front of you does not mean..." Pogo states towards the Sparrow's, except Marah who has been gone for 10 years now. Pogo walks behind the members, smacking Jayme so that she stands up straight.

"Hey!" Jayme exclaims.

"...it is within reach." Pogo continues. "There is always something in the way. Sometimes it is your opponent. Sometimes it is yourself."

Ben and Jayme step forward, standing on opposite sides of a bell. The goal is to knock it down, while keeping your opponent away from it.

"Shiai o kaishi suru!" Pogo exclaims, starting the match by yelling in Japanese.

Ben and Jayme start there match, both starting with hand to hand combat before using their powers. Ben grabs Jayme with his tentacles, pulling her to kneel in front of him, a tentacle covering her nose and mouth.

"You're gonna tap out or pass out. It's your choice." Ben snarls, seeing his father walk in, he raises his head to show that he's better. Jayme tries to say something, but it's muffled. "Hey, it's your life."

"Ben, that's enough! Let her go!" Marcus yells, afraid for his sister.

"Jayme. Jayme, come on. Just tap out." Alphonso says towards Jayme, not wanting to lose his favorite sister.

"I'm afraid there's no tapping out in the real world, children." Reginald states, looking at two of his fighting children.

"That's enough!" Pogo yells, not wanting to lose anyone else.

"No!" Reginald yells, not wanting to deal with weakness. "Jayme will let us knowwhen she's had enough."

Jayme reaches for the piece of wood next to her, Ben not noticing her movement. She grabs it and jams it into one of his tentacles, causing him to loosen the tentacle on her, allowing her time to breath and kick the bell.

"Suck it, squid boy." Jayme taunts Ben, as he slaps his hands on the ground and storms out.

"Bravo." Reginald says monotone.

"Remember, children, we never know what we're truly capable of until we're forced to confront our own extinction." Reginald explains.

"And as their sensei, it is my job to make sure they never have to." Pogo answers.

"Then you overestimate yourself." Reginald snarls. Already unhappy that his daughter has been missing for ten years, he doesn't need his butler going soft on the kids now. "Children, leave us."

"Let's go, guys." Marcus murmurs, leading the Sparrow's out of the training room, leaving the fight between their 'father' and their butler to themselves.

"They're not ready." Pogo comments, meaning no offense to the kids, he just can't bear to lose anyone else.

"Nobody's ever truly ready." Reginald scoffs, a hint of sadness in his voice, his sentence holding more weight then anyone could guess.
