Authors Note
Just warning that this chapter does include a panic attack, I have had these before and know that they are not something to joke about. I will put "🐟" when Y/N first feels it. I will put the same emoji once it is over.

As the carriage finally rocks to a stop Harry taps your shoulder, gently waking you up. "Ok guys- best behaviour for Queen Ariel and King Eric ok?" Uma warns you all, looking at Harry in particular. He rolls his eyes and kicks open the door. As you all tumble out of the carriage you gasp. The early morning sun peeks over the tops of the castle turrets that spiral into the sky. Constructed of gleaming white marble you can hear the ocean close by. "It's pretty cool. Goes all the way down to the water." Uma comments. You just clench you fists. Why is she so into all of this? Where is Uma the pirate? Turning around in the courtyard you watch as a heavy wooden drawbridge gets pulled up, closing off the view of the trees and forest outside the castle walls. Someone clears their throat and Harry and Gil huddle protectively near you. "I am here to escort the Lady Uma, Lord Harry, Lord Gil and Princess Y/N to their Royal Majesty's." A gangly boy with raven hair stands expectantly in front of the four of you. Harry steps up close to his face with a snarl. "Never call me a Lord again- or yeh'll loose more than that offensive tongue." The boy gulps and glances at Uma. "Stand down Harry." Harry doesn't move. The boy turns pale and stammers. "P-please follow me t-this way." Turning on his heel he almost sprints off into the castle. "Looks like we follow the lad." Harry looks at you with question. "We can leave now if you want Y/N." Gil chimes in gently. Steeling yourself for whatever comes next you shake your head. "I'm a pirate and I agreed to a parley. We go in, talk then get the hell out. Preferably with a ship." Harry grins. "I'll take you to your parents then." Uma says stiffly. Something is wrong here. Making a mental note to check in with Uma later you follow her into the castle.

As you all stride through the massive double doors you marvel at the high ceilings, gold pillars and smooth stone floors. Eventually you walk into a hallway lined with floor to ceiling windows looking over the ocean. You can't help but smile at it. A whole ocean to explore! "In here you guys." Uma opens a set of glossy wooden doors leading to a massive dining room. Seated at the heads of the table are two people. One with flaming red hair like your own, aqua eyes and a kind face lit up with a shy smile. The other is an imposing figure with black hair and a forced smile, his light blue eyes shooting laser beams at Uma. You frown at him. Ariel stands up and swishes over to you, her sparkly green gown glowing in the early morning. "Hi.." she breaths, devouring you with her eyes. "Um. Hi." You refuse to smile. "Im...you mother." You put your shaky hands into your pockets. "And I'm your father!" Eric says loudly, striding up and trying to pull you into a hug. Having none of it you dodge and step back behind Harry and Gil. "Don't yeh touch her." Harry growls. Ariel looks distressed. "Eric! Don't presume to hug her, we just met!" Looking at the rest of your group with a small smile she asks kindly. "Can I show you to your rooms?" Gil steps up and replies as politely as he can. "Yes please your highnesses." Ariel brushes past and into the hallway. "Please call me  Ariel. Any friends of Y/N are worthy of the same informality." Harry puts a hand on your back and helps guide you behind Ariel. 🐟. Your legs feel shaky and your heart beats faster and faster in your chest.

When you eventually reach the suite you run to the first door you see, not even noticing the other doors connected to the main room, filled with plush seats and a roaring fire place. After you shut the door you let the anxiety out. Tears spill down your cheeks and you heave violently. Curling up in a tight ball you put your trembling hands over your ears and rock yourself, trying to calm down. What am I doing here? Im like a fish out of water! I need to leave, but Uma, and my parents. Why is she so nice?! And Eric. He scares me so much, what has he done to Uma? Why is she acting so weird....I can't....I can't... your panic starts making you feel faint. You don't hear as your door opens and Gil wraps you in his arms. "Hey...Hey. Can you tell me how you feel?" You gasp a breath through the tears and try focusing on what Gil is saying. "I....I can't..." he rocks with you. "And that's ok, how about you tell me if you can wiggle your toes? Can you wiggle them for me?" You try to concentrate and wiggle your toes. You nod to Gil. "That's great. Can you tell me what colours you see in the room?" Looking around you see a bed with sea green gossamer curtains, and a dark wooden dresser and well as a cream coloured carpet. The ceiling is covered in painting like the carriage. "Um. Green. Blue. Brown..." you can feel your heartbeat slowing down. "Red, silver and gold." Gil shuffles in front of you and gently pulls your hand away from your face. 🐟. "You feel better now?" You nod and start to feel embarrassed. "Um, thanks Gil. What was that?" Gil gives you a small smile. "That was a panic attack. My mum used to get them. Then I had to help Harry with them when he was kicked out." That must be how Harry knew to help me get to the suite. "Where is he now?" Before Gil can answer you Harry storms in. "Are your ok now Y/N?" You nod. "What where you doing Harry?" He looks away. Uma comes in now. "He was yelling at your father." You gasp. "Our first day here and you yelled at the King?" Harry frowns at Uma. "He was being weird. And he made you upset. And," he whirled around to Uma. "He was looking at you almost threateningly. I hate him." You smile. "I agree. Uma what's going on?" You push yourself up and stand in front of Uma.
