It was the time of the evening, people were enjoying their evening in the indoor cafe. Avni was also sitting there. A waiter came to her. 
Waiter: Hello, ma'am what can I help you with? 
Avni looked at him and then she looked at the entrance. 
Avni: aa, ab. Actually, I am waiting for someone. 
Avni looked at the waiter. 
Avni: when he will come, I will call you. 
The waiter nodded and said ok. He goes. Avni looked at the door. She thinks and looked at her watch and it shows 05:15 pm then she again looked at the door.  Avni thinks. She thought to call him and took out the phone from her bag. She dialled Neil's number but stopped to think something. 
Avni in mind: you called him last night now it is time to test him. You took the step by calling him now let's see if he meets your expectations or not. He is worthy to give a chance or not. 
Avni thinks and she kept her phone on the table. She waited for Neil. Avni thinks. She saw the time and it shows 05:35 pm. Avni thinks. 
On the other side, Neil was driving the car and he was not able to drive but he has to go to Avni at any cost. He took out his phone and tried to call Avni but the network was not reachable. 
Neil: damn, this network. 
Neil put his hand on the horn to get a way. Neil kept his hand on his forehead in tension. Soon, he reached and he entered the room hurriedly. Neil stopped and looked around. Neil's eyes were finding Avni. He came forward but Avni was nowhere. Neil thinks and he took out his phone from his pocket and is shocked to see the time. It shows 06:10 pm. Neil dialled Avni's number but the network was still not. 
Neil: damn. 
Neil grinned his teeth and was about to throw his phone but he stopped. Neil ran his hand in his hair. Neil sighs. 
Avni came to her room and she threw her bag on the bed and sat. She cried. 
Avni: I should not believe him. I am a fool that I believe him. He again played with my emotions, my feelings. I hate him. I just hate him. 
Neil stopped his car outside the Mehta house and opened the window of the car. He looked at the Mehta house. Neil thinks. 
Neil: no, this is not the right time to talk to Avni. Once, my reports come then I will talk to her. 
Neil looked at the door. 
Neil: I am sorry, my love. I know once again I hurt you but trust me this time, it was unintentional. I tried my best to reach the cafe on time but couldn't make it. But, once I get confirmation that what I am thinking is not true then I will come to you. I know, you will be angry with me but don't worry, I will pacify you. 
Neil was looking at the Mehta house. Neil started his car and he goes from there. 
It was the time of the night, Avni was sitting on the bed and her phone was kept in front of her. Since evening, she was sitting like this and was waiting for Neil's call but he didn't call her. On the other side, Neil was sitting on the bed leaning on the hardboard and his phone was in his hand. He was looking at his phone. His heart wanted to contact Avni but his mind was stopping him. Neil closed his eyes and opened teary eyes. 
Neil: Sorry, my love. 
Neil gulps. On the other side, Avni picked up her phone and she threw it to the side in anger and her eyes were red because of crying. 
Avni: stop waiting for him. He is a liar. He is a cheater. He... 
Avni cries. 
Avni: he is a cheater. He is a cheater. He is a cheater.
