Kentrell sat in the waiting room with his head in his hands.
Nyla, Ben, Kd, Joe, Jhenè, and Sheronda sat in the waiting room along with Kentrell as they waited for the doctor to call them back.
Sadly, Kentrell grabbed the gun but Nadia had already pulled the trigger.
But somehow, Nadia managed to survive but she would have some brain damage along with minor memory lost.
"It's going to be okay, Kentrell. I'm pretty sure she's going to remember you" Sheronda said as she rubbed Kentrell's back.
"What if she don't? What if she don't wanna be near me anymore?" Kentrell said as he bit down on his bottom lip.
"Nadia Davis" the nurse said causing everyone to quickly stand and make their way over to the doctor.
"Is she okay?" Nyla asked as she wiped her tears with the sleeve of her shirt.
"Yes, she is okay. As you may know, she has minor memory lost. We just got done running a few test on her so we are still waiting for the results" the nurse said as she looked down at her clipboard.
"Can we see ha'?" Kentrell asked before sniffling causing the lady to look up from her clipboard before nodding.
"She is sleeping right now so try not to wake her up. And don't be surprised when you see her. You guys can follow me" she said as she turned around.
They all followed her as she stood at the glass double doors. "Only one person can come to the back" she said as she typed the code into the keypad on the side of the door.
"Kentrell can go, Nyla you can go after him" Ben said causing Nyla to start crying hard again.
Ben and the others walked off as Kentrell and the nurse walked through the doors.
They walked down a long hallway before approaching a door that had Nadia's initials printed onto it.
The nurse put Nadia's birthday into the keypad causing the door to crack open.
"Go ahead. If you need help, you can push the red button on the left side of the bed" she said causing him to nod before slowly stepping into the room.
Kentrell opened the curtains revealing Nadia in the bed with a few cords hooked up to her arms and legs.
Kentrell slowly walked to the side of the bed before grabbing her hand, making sure not to touch her IV .
"Please don't die, I don't know if I can live without you mama" he said as tears rolled down his face.
"I'm sorry I didn't notice anything was wrong. I should've been there for you when you needed me" Kentrell said as he sat in the chair that was next to her bed.
"I want to tell you that I'm sorry for all the shit I put you through because if I never existed, you wouldnt be here" he cried as he looked up at the ceiling.
"Imma kill that bitch fa' making you feel like I didn't want you" he said before squeezing her hand tight.
He felt movement causing his head to snap in Nadia's direction. "Kentrell?" she mumbled causing a small smile to appear on his face.
"Wheres Kentrell?" she asked before looking around the room.
Kentrell frowned as he watched her every move.
"Sir, why am I here and where's Kentrell?" she said looking at Kentrell with tears in her eyes.
"Mama, it's me" he said causing her to narrow her eyes at him.
"Wheres my baby?" she asked before sitting up.
Kentrell glanced up at the heart monitor to see it beeping fast. He leaned over before pressing the button.
"No, what are you doing? Sir stop" she said before grabbing both of his hands.
"Baby, I'm getting them so they can help you" he mumbled as she gently rubbed the back of his hands.
The nurses ran in before slowly pushing her back onto the bed. They put more medicine into her IV causing her to hiss.
The medicine that they put in Nadia's IV caused her to go to sleep.
Once the nurses left, the same nurse from earlier came in with a clipboard in her hands.
"Okay, so I have some great news for you guys" the nurse said causing Kentrell to frown while looking up at her.
"Congratulations, you guys are having a baby. She is five weeks pregnant" the lady said with a huge smile on her face.
