"Do you know how she died?"Hallie asked.I sighed,"her rehab center said she managed to escape,and the police said that they found her dead in her apartment."I explained.I sadly looked at Layne,who was finally sleeping in Jerry's arms."you think he'll be ok?"Hallie asked me,I sighed and shook my head."put yourself in his perspective."she looked at Layne and sighed,"at least he won't have to go through this alone."I nodded in agreement."it's going to be a lot."she looked at me,"there's so much to deal with,you know?"I said."I know Micah,but it'll be ok."she said,grabbing my hand and holding it.I smiled,"thanks Hal."she smiled back.
Jerry's pov
I could feel Layne stirring in my arms,he was wrapped around my waist like a sloth.I sighed tiredly as I ran my fingers through his fluffy curly hair,looking down at him sadly.him and Demri were close,closer then our relationship.I can understand how he feels,hell it's how we all felt about Kurt when he almost died."how is he?"Sean asked,I looked up and at him."he's finally asleep."I replied,he put his hands in his pockets."Jer..."he trailed off,"Nevermind."he sighed."it's alright Sean,just say what's on your mind."I assured him,he sat down next to me."well...I know this is a selfish thing to think about,but do you think the band will ever reunite?"he asked,I hesitated for a moment."I...I'm not so sure."I admitted,he looked down and nodded.
