Becky's POV

"What is Heidi doing here at my house?" I was stunned by her presence. I let Freen go first before I have a conversation with Heidi cause who knows what she has to say this time?

Once Freen left, I confronted Heidi at the house and asked why she came to my house.

'I just want to check up on you after last night. Plus, I want to talk about us." Heidi made a long face.

At that moment, my mom was still in the same room as Heidi and me, so I excused myself from my mom. She doesn't know I drank yesterday and I haven't told her yet that I liked girls. Before she knew about my sexuality from someone else, I dragged Heidi out of my house and went to other places to talk.

She agreed and brought me to a nearby cafe to talk to her about our friendship and future relationship. "So... are you single, Becky?" Heidi looked full of hope.

I admitted that, indeed, I am single, but I am currently not available. Heidi understood my intention and asked, " Would it be okay to pursue you even though you haven't developed any feelings for me?"

"I cannot control someone's feelings, but I don't think my feelings will change anytime soon." I cleared up.

"Alright. I understand... But we can still be friends, right?" She asked.

"Yeah, sure! Why can't we," I added.

"So, are we cool now? Cause you looked hysterical when I showed up at your house." She noticed.

"I am all good. I am just surprised how you know my place is all." I tell her the truth.

"Oh, that... I asked my new friends I met at the club yesterday where your house is."

From then onwards, she brought up why am I unavailable. Despite being her friend for a longer time than Freen, I don't think I should let her know about my feelings for Freen when no one really knows about my unrequited love story. As vague as I could be, I told her I liked someone, but they didn't know about my feelings yet.

"I could tell that you really liked this person. Tell me what you like about them." She became interested in knowing my secret crush.

Eventually, I gave in and described Freen's personality without saying that it was her that I was talking about. "She always takes care of me whenever she has the chance to do so. She makes me laugh, is kind, and sometimes acts cute, but lowkey doesn't want to show it to me cause she's shy. She is the real definition of real beauty, not just her appearance but her personality as well. I fall for her every day. My body automatically searches for her presence whenever I am not with her. Too bad I don't think she has the same feeling as mine." I pouted at the possibility.

"So the person you like is a 'she', huh?" Heidi smiled weirdly. I nodded at her and stopped talking about my crush because the thought of Freen made me blush uncontrollably.

...

When I returned home, I didn't want to hide who I was in front of my mom, so I decided to tell her about liking someone. "Oh, who is it, dear?" She was excited by the news.

"Promise me not to get angry, okay?" I was scared for my dear life.

"I like Freen!" I admitted while covering my face so I didn't get to see my mom's reaction. Then, I secretly took a peek at her, and she laughed.

"Took you long enough to admit, don't you dear?" She laughed like a mad person.
