Sarafina was in Scar's den cleaning Nala but soon saw Scar barge in with Mheetu. She started crying. "Please don't hurt him!" Cried Sarafina. Scar laid Mheetu down. "I'm not going to hurt him. I just want to know why you would give our son away?" Asked Scar. "Are you stupid? I gave him away because of you! You're a psychopath. I didn't want him to be raised in it", said Sarafina. "Sarafina, the only psychopath here is you", said Scar. Sarafina started growling. "No! You were the one who made my life a living hell and for what?! Because my naïve self blamed you for my dad's death when I literally saw Azola killing him! I was a young cub and I was in a lot of pain", said Sarafina as she fought back her tears. 
Scar looked at Mheetu and was awing him. It was the first time that Sarafina ever saw him fascinated. "He's so perfect", said Scar. "Perfect for what?" Asked Sarafina. Scar grinned. "Perfect for being my heir", said Scar. "Don't you dare! He is not going to be involved in your ways", said Sarafina. Scar laughed. "You do realize I'm the king and that I could exile you and your daughter out of this Pride, right?" Asked Scar. Sarafina sighed. "Fine but please let him have a cubhood at least and take care of him this time!" Said Sarafina. Mheetu started crying. Sarafina comforted him. She realized she still had some milk left and decided to nurse Mheetu.
Nala watched in shock. "He's my brother?" Asked Nala. Sarafina nodded. "I'm sorry that I lied dear. I lied to save you", said Sarafina. Sarafina continued nursing her son until Johari walked into the den with rage. Johari growled at Sarafina. "Give back Nina's cub or else!" Growled Johari. Sarafina was in shock. "I can't. He's my cub", said Sarafina. Johari was in shock. "Then why did your mom have your cub?" Asked Johari. "Because I wasn't ready to have another cub", said Sarafina. Johari nodded and left. 
Sarafina comforted her son. "Everything is going to be okay, my little Mheetu", whispered Sarafina. Mheetu cooed as Sarafina cleaned his soft fur with her tongue. Scar came in with the hyenas. "Sarafina walk with me. We have to do his presentation", said Scar. Sarafina sighed and carried her son outside and stood by the Pride Rock. Scar stood by her. Everyone soon gathered under the Pride Rock. Scar cleared his throat. "I am proud to introduce my new heir of the PrideLands. His name is Mheetu", said Scar.
Sarafina raised Mheetu up into the sky. Everyone watched as she had a blank expression. The cubs noticed she was depressed. "She seems very sad", said Tama. Nala appeared and shocked them. "Hello guys", said Nala. "Nala! Do not scare us like that!" Said Kula. Nala giggled. "I see Nala didn't change", said Chumvi. Kula nodded. "I can tell", said Kula. Nala sighed. "I'm sorry for ditching you guys. It's just that Simba's death affected me so bad and I can't think straight", said Nala. 
"Sarafina, what do you think about our son?" Asked Scar. "I think he's perfect. He will be an amazing king like his father", stuttered Sarafina. She felt sick for saying those words but she faked it like she meant it. She heard a scream across from the crowd. She looked and saw a familiar face looking very furious. She was shocked. "What is she doing here?" Asked Sarafina.
