With the bird now caught, the group wrapped the bird rope around the wings so it would unable to escape from them. They also wrapped it's beak since it just wouldn't shut up. It was then when they began making their way back to Crickets hut. "Ossan! We got the bird-" Luffy was shouting as they were exiting the forest only to stop upon the sight before them. "Diamond-head Ossan!?" Cricket was on the ground bleeding all over the place with his house with a large hole in the wall.
"Masira!" The monkey man was unconscious on his stomach also bleeding.
"Shoujo!" While the ape man was in the ocean floating unconscious.
"What the hell happened?!" As they had been in the forest only for a few hours they never thought that something like this could happen without them hearing anything. The lot of them had taken off those the three in a hurry.
"Shit, who did this!?" Sanji dove into the water and was pulling Shoujo to the shore. "Oi, gimme a hand!" Chopper had changed into Heavy Point form as he grabbed ahold of Shoujo to pull out of the water with both Lián and Jián pulling as well.
"LOOK!" Usopp was standing in front of Merry's head that had been wrapped off the ship. "The Going Merry! How could this happen!? Who did this to here, damn it!? Who!?" Needless to say that the young boy was in tears at the sight.
"Sor... ry..." at that moment, Cricket had regained consciousness and was strangling to speak.
"Ossan!" Luffy was right beside the man. "Oi, Ossan! You awake?" He was asking worried for him.
"I'm really sorry. We were here, but we couldnt do anything!" Cricket was informing them as he began sitting up. "But still... there's still time. We still have time to strengthen your ship...!" He didn't seem the slightest bit concern about his own injuries.
"Hold on, Ossan!" Luffy tried to stop him from doing that, however. "First tell us what happened!" He wanted to know wha had happened.
"Nah, it's nothing. Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter anymore." But Cricket didn't seem to want to inform them of what happened. "More importantly, did you—" Just as he was about to ask about the bird, he noticed Zoro standing there with the bird in hand, being held by it's feet. "That's it. Good job catching that Southbird." He said before coughing heavily. "That will do fine."
"Luffy!" Nami;s shouting from the house had pulled everyone to her. "The gold was... stolen!" It became clear what the attackers were after.
"It... It doesn't matter. Just forget it." However, it appeared that Cricket didn't seem to care. "More importantly, you guys-"
"What doesn't matter!?" Usopp ended up shouting while cutting the old man off. "Oyassan, you spent ten years beating up your body, diving day after day for that gold! And then you're-"
"Shut up, kid!" This time it had been Cricket that cut him off. "It doesn't matter. This is our problem. Got that?" Everyone just stood and looked at the man that refused to tell them anything. "The three of us of the Saruyama Alliance have our duties. Your ship is in no shape to sail right now!" He was right about that. "We have to finish by morning! We're not giving up on your voyage!" But why that was all being said Zoro came to notice Lián standing in front of the board looking at it sideways, with Jián beside her standing normally. This had caused him to walk over, with the bird still in hand, to see what it was she was looking at. "Listen, I swear that I'll get you to Sky Island."
"Oyassan..."
"Oi, Luffy." The swordsman called out this time, which had the boy turn towards him where he saw Zoro pointing his thumb behind him at a mark on the board. It was a Jolly Roger that was a smiling face with a line across it.
"Bellamy's mark..." Nami remembered it from town.
"Need a hand?" This was asked as Luffy stood up.
"Nope, I'll be fine." However, he had responded with that had he pulled his hat down covering his eyes.
"No, Luffy! Don't do anything stupid!" Nami shouted at him, reminding him that there was only three hours left till they needed to set sail.
"If I follow the coast, will I reach that town from this afternoon?" The young man asked Robin, as he didn't lift up his head.
"Yes, you'll reach it." She came to answer him, and without hesitation he began moving.
"Hey, kid! Where are you going?!" Cricket began shouting loudly at him. "You'd better not be messing in our business! Do you know who you're going-!?" But before he could finish, Zoro dropped his sheaved katana before the old man.
"If you want to stop him, you'll have to use this." Is what the swordsman told him.
"K-Kid..." The old man was in no state to down anything.
"I'll be back by dawn." Luffy had said this, cracking his fingers in anger before he had taken off towards the town. However, not before Nami warned him about being late, because if he had they wouldn't be able to make it to Sky Island.
After Luffy had left, Chopper began treating Cricket, Masira and Shoujo's injures, while they and the others were helping repairing the Going Merry. It was amazing how they were already were hammering away with their men as if nothing had happened.
"Those guys are tough!" Usopp could only say watching them. "They got the crap kicked out of them and they're already on their feet." His sight then moved to Cricket, or more like Chopper who was on his back treating. "And even with Chopper treating their wounds, they got better pretty damn fast."
"Jiji-chan! Jiji-chan!" Lián was calling out to her brother, waving him over to her.
"What?" He had asked after leaving the reindeer.
"Did you do anything?" She was looking up to Jián as she asked this strange question.
"All I did was hand him the medicine." Had been the response given by the young man.
"Hmmm...If you say so." However, she didn't seem to believe that. "Anyway, pick that up for me!" Her hand pointed to a pile of planks.
"Last time I checked, you were stronger then me." Jián said picking up the pile.
"Yeah, but I'm also lazier then you too." That had been followed up as she began walking towards the Merry, with her brother following after.
"How come you didn't go with him?" This question was being asked by Nami, as she was standing on the aft deck of Merry.
"Huh? What the hell is with you?" It had been directed to Zoro who had been hammering away at the mast. "First it's 'don't fight'... Then 'fight'... Then 'don't go'... Then 'go'." He appeared to be completely annoyed how the girl continued to change her mind.
"That's not what I meant. You got beaten up too, didn't you?" She came to remind him of what happened back in Mock Town at the bar.
"Beaten up?" However, the young man looked pissed off as he spoke. "It's not like there were standing in our way." He began speaking and calming down at the same time. "A fight that leaves you with only pity... only brings pain."
"What does that mean?" Though, Nami didn't understand what he was on about. "Retarded, aren't you."
"Shut up! Why don't you get lost! You're in the way!" Zoro shouted this while slamming his fist onto the mast.
"What was that?!" Which only had Nami shouting and slamming her hands down on t he railing in front of her in response. "You never listen to a word I say!"
"Why do I have to listen to you!?"
"Usus-chan, Nana-chan and Zozo-chan are beating Gogo-chan." Lián shouted down to the long nose as she had Jián had been standing on the deck of The Going Merry watching them.
"Oi, oi! Be a little more careful, you idiots!" The long nose had come running while shouting.
"I wonder. Maybe because what I say is usually RIGHT!"
"Just get out of here!" However, neither of them appeared to be listening.
"This ship out most precious treasure- Oi, oi! Cut it out, JERKS!" Which had cause him to snap in the end.
"I'm contemplating whether this is a good idea or not." Jián stated to his sister once again as they watched.
"About?" Lián didn't seem to understand why he said that.
"Traveling with a bunch of idiots that will get us killed." Had been his answered as the shouting continued to escalate even more then before. However, neither of them tried to interfere despite it.
