Joseph wasn't quite comfortable with telling people about his personal life which ment that he hadn't told anybody that you both were dating and to be honest it didn't look like he was planning on telling anyone anytime soon anyway.
There was a gala soon and in the invitation it wrote with big golden sparkly letters 
' Plus 1 '
Which ment that you could come too!
But not as his girlfriend.
You wore a red silk dress which matched the theme and Joseph wore a Black tuxedo 
You both sat down at the table with all of Joseph's friends 
"Why hello there Joseph!" Said someone from the table 
" It's been a while <Guy name>"
" It has! And who is this beautiful lady?"
" That would be a friend of mine"
It might have broke your heart a bit but you knew he had to say it.
" Oh for a second there I thought you two were dating, my apologies "
A while past and Joseph could see that you were getting bored 
" Hey"
" Hm? hey" You were zoned out 
" You okay?"
" Great" you smiled at him and he lightly smiled back 
The gala was about to come to an end when all of a sudden people started getting up from the table and asking one another to dance 
Joseph and you sat there for a while until a Brown curly haired girl came up to Joseph shyly 
" Dance?"
Joseph looked at you with a blank face 
" Sure" he replied 
You smiled at him " Have fun!" 
To be honest you were jealous like realllyyyyy jealous but you tried to stay calm
You were the only one left at the table and Joseph stared at you from time to time to check if you were okay 
All of a sudden a very handsome looking man came up to you 
" Alone huh"
" Yep seems like it " You chuckled
" I came here as a plus one" he said while sitting next to you
" Same here"
" Hey you um you wanna dance?"
You smiled
" Of course"
He lended you his veiny hand and you both danced laughed and talked .
Joseph on the other hand saw you with the man , it made him so very jealous but he had to stay with the Lady who had asked him to dance because it would be quite suspicious if you both danced.
Everyone started leaving and so you and Joseph did too
As you were walking to the car with Joseph You could see he was irritated by something and wanted to talk about it 
" How was tonight?" he asked
" Great" you said smiling 
" Who was the guy you met" He said calmly with a smile trying to not make it obvious that he was jealous 
" Oh that was Leo, he was the directors brother or something" 
" Oh cool "
" Who was the girl?" 
" I don't know I think she was a model"
You both got in the car and drove home 
Once you were there it instantly started raining so you both got inside
Before you could change you saw Joseph going out to the backyard 
"Joseph?"
You said but he didn't listen 
"Joseph what are you doing?"
As you said that He got out and now was outside.
You followed him out knowing that your dress and your hair would get all wet
Joseph stopped in the middle of a empty place in the backyard, It was raining pretty heavily and his curly hair was now all wet.
he turned to face you and smirked
"What?" You asked
He lifted his hand 
" Dance?"
You chuckled 
" Seriously?"
" Yeah" he smiles 
You held his hand and started dancing in the rain, it felt like the most magical moment ever.
You thought it couldn't get any better than this
" I think I want to tell people that we're dating."
But it  seems like, it could.
Finally wrote a story with a happy ending 💪😎
