Jisung: We can't know that without having proper information about her.
Minho: Do you think she knows about her bloodline? Especially her parents? For all we know she could be any of the remaining Min's daughter. So, if the information is right then we know who her mother is but if she isn't her biological mother which might be the case since the children usually carry the father's name then we don't know anything about her at all.
Hyunjin: They both called the Mins their uncles which just makes sense that they are cousins. 
Felix: Or might be that her true identity is also kept hidden from her. For all we know she might be just as clueless as we are.
Jeongin: I never knew that such complicated matters existed when I joined the council.
Chan: So, we know about Yoonmin but we have no idea about Juno's identity. All we know for now is that they're both the last descendants of the royal bloodline.
Seungmin: And that barely answers any of our questions. It is hardly any valuable information.
Chan: Seungmin, you said you read about the royals in the book regarding the history of the royals, right?
Seungmin: Yeah, apparently their lineage was mentioned there.
Chan: Hyunjin, can you find anything except the names of the Min in the databases?
Hyunjin: Nope, it only says that they died during the pack wars and vaguely mentions their mates and children which we know they hardly had any.
Felix: What are you thinking, Chan?
Chan: The last royals mentioned in the history books are the Min siblings... None of this makes sense! Why does she have to be complicated? And why is this mysterious girl my mate?
Felix: Maybe so that you can unveil the mystery of her identity. I mean think of it, no one paid attention to those two including us until this morning when you realized that she is your mate. If she wasn't your mate, we would've never paid attention to them which could lead the pack in danger if it's something serious.
Chan: There could be other ways too. Why does she have to be my mate for that?
Seungmin: I understand your frustration since you're used to being obeyed most of the time but to be honest, I don't get why you hate her so much. She is a little bold but you can't expect everyone to be the same.
Chan: What would you do if she was your mate?
Seungmin: I...
Chan: Exactly.
Seungmin: I never thought of her that way and never will because she is your mate. So don't ask me questions where I have to put myself in such a position to think about your mate like that.
Felix: Uh...  let's focus on gathering the hidden information for now since I think it will help you a lot to decide if you want to reject her or not.
Hyunjin: But how are we supposed to gather any evidence or information? I searched every database but there's absolutely nothing.
Changbin: Like Felix said, there is bound to be some information in the papers at the secure room.
Chan: We can't possibly access those documents without dad knowing about it since they must be kept in SCIF(sensitive compartmented information facility).
Minho: And even if we get the access there will be a ton of files to go through. We need a clue about it first that can lead us to it.
Jisung: Then what are you going to do, Chan?
Chan: Simple, we'll interrogate them.
Minho: What?!
Chan: We'll ask them about it ourselves. If they know something they'll have to tell us and if they don't know anything they'll find it out themselves out of curiosity making our work easier.
Changbin: And you think they'll tell you everything that easily?
Chan: I'm not the next alpha for no reason. I know how to make people talk.

It was midnight and you were still awake in your bed staring at the ceiling. In just one day things had gone crazy. Your mate was the alpha and he already hated you. Well, you always had a feeling that your mate will reject you just like your father had left your mother. He never came back even after you were born. Where is he? Who is he? Does he even know about you? If he does know about you, then does he not care about you? Wait, is he even alive? You stopped asking these questions to your mom long ago because you noticed the pain in her eyes whenever you asked her about him. She always said that she didn't tell you about him to keep you safe and that you were better off without the knowledge of him to which you didn't argue. If your father really cared about you, then he would've showed up by now which means he really doesn't care. You don't need to concern yourself with people who don't care about you. And if what you were told is true then he is dead already so, you should move on and forget the past. You tried to brush these thoughts off again and tried to sleep clueless about how crazier your life was about to get the next morning.
