is it selfish to say i miss you?
how i miss our midnight kisses, and cuddling for warmth. how you would hold my hand, even if we were fighting. how you mindlessly doodled all over me, turning me into your own picasso.
is it selfish to say i still want you?
i want your hand in mine. i want to dance in the rain, and laugh in the snow. i want late night conversations and talks of our future. i want the things we used to do, and the things we haven't yet.
is it selfish to say i still love you?
i'm still in love with your laugh, your smile, your freckles. i love how my name seemed so effortless when you'd say it. i loved how you knew just what to say to get me to melt, to make me putty in your hands.
would that be selfish?
