When Jeno returned to the truck he shut the door and clicked his seatbelt on. He covered his face, letting out a frustrated sigh.

Johnny reached over from behind the drivers seat and smacked his hands down on Jeno's shoulders. "Look at you getting lucky!" Johnny squealed, roughly shaking Jeno back and forth.

"Get off of me!" Jeno whined, and his friends were back to giggling like middle school fan girls.

"Don't try to deny it!" Johnny continued. "We saw how you wiped his tears and sprung into action to save him! You love him!"

"We just met."

"Exactly," Lucas exclaimed. He clasped his hands together, wiggling his eyebrows even more. "It was love at first sight!"

"Shut the hell up." Jeno rolled his eyes. He shifted the gear into drive and got back onto the road.

"Makes me wonder what you two were talking about in the dressing room," Yuta scratched his chin. "Do I even want to know what went on?"

"Yeah, spill it." Johnny kept on, nudging Jeno's arm from the back seat. "I want to know all the details. Tell me about him!"

"He's... a ballet dancer."

"For real? Damn, he must be pretty flexible then."

"Would you quit it!" Jeno whined again. "Nothing happened!"

"Did you at least use protection?" Lucas asked, which made the two other boys burst into laughter.

Jeno fell silent. He knew they were teasing him after what they witnessed. After all, it wasn't the first time that Jeno hooked up with someone he met at a club.

See, when Jeno was on stage, something tugged at his heart strings when he first laid his eyes on Jaemin. Even though there was a crowd of attractive clubbers dancing to his music, Jeno was somehow drawn to that sophisticated individual sitting by himself.

When they met in the bathroom, Jaemin looked more elegant in person, as if he had hopped out of a royalty novel. Jaemin was pure eye candy, with round cheeks, pink lips and a subtle innocence in his eyes that Jeno very much wanted to test. Jaemin's voice was fine wine yet his words were bitter to the tongue. So Jeno knew he had to be creative if he wanted Jaemin's undivided attention.

Not only that... but Jeno wanted to get inside Jaemin's head, to understand him a bit better.

"Guys, I think we pissed him off," Lucas joked, although kind of nervous, since Jeno hadn't spoken for fifteen minutes. Rightfully so, because Jeno was thinking about straight up punching all three of them in the face.

But when Johnny saw his friend's reflection on the rearview, he frowned. "Hey... genuine question... are you upset about Haechan?"

No answer.

"Be honest with us."

"I'm not upset." Jeno lied.

"Then why did you yell at Jaemin?"

"I didn't mean to..." Jeno paused. "It's complicated."

"You got jealous." Lucas said. "It was a fucked up situation. But you didn't want Haechan to interfere."

Jeno swallowed. He lowered the heater, feeling a sweat breaking in. "That's not it."

"Listen." Yuta spoke this time. "Whatever you're planning on doing with this Jaemin dude... be careful. You don't know this guy. Call him pretty boy all you want, but just know that Jaemin could be anyone. I'm saying this because I know you, Jeno... we all do. And we don't want you to make the same mistake all over again."

"Please. I'm not a kid. I won't."

"How do you know that?"

"Because it seems... different this time." Jeno nodded and gripped the steering wheel. "Now please... stop talking about it."

Then Johnny had to ask, "Did you at least get Jaemin's number?"

"Yes..." Jeno murmured, getting embarrassed now. "But it was only to get information on his next rehearsal."

Johnny squealed like a teenage girl once again, smacking his thighs in excitement. "Ooh, you're such a playboy!"

"Ugh. Its not a date."

"Maybe not to you, but it most certainly is a date to him!"

"Whatever." Jeno grinned, focusing on the road ahead. He definitely wasn't trying to start a relationship... he just wanted to see Jaemin dance. That's all.

Right?
