You stepped out of the shuttle and onto your new ship, the U.S.S Enterprise. You took in a deep breath and smiled softly.
You turned and saw a small group of people. "Hello Cadets. These member of the crew will be showing you around." The Captain told you all. The meme we of the crew lined up. "When I call your name raise your hand and a member of the crew will come show you around."
He read the list of. About halfway through you heard your name get called and you raised your hand. A tall man with pointed ears walked up to you.
You knew who he was immediately. You couldn't help but blush, not realizing that this First Officer was so handsome, and tall.
"Hello Cadet. I am Mr.Spock. I shall lead you to your quarters and then give you a tour around the ship." He instructed and started walking off.
You quickly caught up to him and you looked around. "This ship is extravagant." You murmured softly. You ran a hand along the wall and you didn't notice Spock watching you, a slight smile on his face.
You turned back to him and he looked forward once more. You couldn't help but notice the slight green tint on the tips of his ears, which caused your cheeks to turn slightly pink.
He lead you to your cabin and gave you a very detailed tour of the ship. Your last stop was his room. "I presume you can make it back to your quarters alone?" He asked and you nodded. "Good. If you ever need me after a shift I will be here." He told you and you smiled softly nodding.
"I'll see you at dinner tonight Mr.Spock." You said and rocked on the balls of your feet.
"I give you permission to call me by name without the formalities." He told you in a soft voice.
You nodded and waved your fingers as you began walking away. He waved back shyly and the green tint returned to his ears and the red tint to yours.

You say at the dinner table and chatted with Spock, you two off separated by the group. This became an everyday occurrence, then an every meal occurrence.
Kirk had taken notice and hatched a plan to get you two together. Ever since Uhura broke up with him Spock hadn't seemed quite right, he hadn't when he was with her either.
Kirk noticed how, human, you made Spock. He smiled and continue yes eating as he thought. He smirked as the idea came to mind and he messaged Spock on his PADD.
You heard the buzz of Spock getting a message. He sighed softly. "Let me check this and they we can continue." He said.
