I looked at both sides of the street before quickly crossing towards that long-awaited place that I had such a hard time finding.
I watched the muggles passing by, but they didn't seem to see me, so I entered the place quietly. When I walked in, the first thing I saw were several tables full of wizards eating and drinking, paintings that were moving, a fireplace through which a couple had just left, etc.
I approached the bar, where there was a middle-aged woman with a child of about 10 years at her side.
- "Hello, good afternoon" - I greeted her with a smile.
- "Good afternoon, dear, do you want something to eat?"
I was starving, so I agreed. - "Yes, please."
- "Very well, what do you want to order?" - She smiled at me.
- "Treacle tart and ginger butterbeer if you have it." - I had never really eaten these, but whenever I saw or read something related to Harry Potter, these seemed to be delicious.
- "Of course, dear now I'll get it for you" - The woman turned to prepare my order.
It occurred to me that the butterbeer must have some alcohol in it, so I couldn't drink it since I was breastfeeding, and it would affect my baby. - "Miss could I have a glass of milk instead of beer please" - I begged her, and she turned with a smile.
- "No problem there, by the way, my name is Marta, and he is my son Tom" - She pointed to the boy who was sitting on one side. - "I'm the owner of the place, and you are?" - She looked at me curiously.
- "Oh excuse my carelessness" - I smiled at her - "I am Morgana and this is my son Baltazar" - I pointed to the self-proclaimed Voldemort before, he was in my arms playing with my hair which he put in his mouth. - "No Zar" - I said quickly taking my hair out of his mouth and pulling it towards my back, he pouted. - "Now, don't cry my love" - I cradled him in my arms to calm his crying, and he gradually calmed down.
- "Your baby is very cute" - Marta said, arriving with my order.
- "Thank you very much" - I smiled at her, put my bag aside, and started eating as best I could with Zar still in my arms.
- "A consultation, Marta" - I called her again while I was drinking my milk. - "Would you have a room available and how much would it cost me?"
- "Yes we have available, the night is 10 Sickle and 5 knuts" - She answered me.
- "Okay, I want a room and charge for food." - She nodded and I paid for the room.
When I finish eating, she takes me to what would be my new home for a while.
The room was nice, a bit old but considering I was in 1926 it was fine.
Marta left me, so I could settle down, and went once more to the bar to serve.
I left Zar in bed surrounded by pillows and I changed clothes to a dress that had been given in the orphanage, I urgently had to buy clothes. Change my baby's clothes, and we went to Diagon Alley, with the help of Marta we were able to cross the wall.
My surprise was great when I finally saw Diagon Alley, it was much more beautiful and bustling than I imagined, the batches caught my attention, but I knew that my first stop had to be the bank, so with some regret, I had to put a stop to my emotion and desire to run to see everything, to go to my first destination.
After a few minutes of walking, I finally had the acclaimed magic bank in front of me.
