It had been an entire month since Esme and Mary had been allowed out of the tower since Francis knew his wife and unborn child are now safe from any harm. In that month , the brunette had kept mostly to herself as she attempted to keep her anger at bay and it didn't help that she was more emotional than ever and isn't happy with Francis at all she understood why he locked her and her sister in the tower it was to keep them alive as their brothers foot soldier was paid gold to murder the Queen and Princess of Scotland.
But Francis, could of gone about it a different way he could of talked to the Stuart twins about his worries and concerns but he knows how stubborn the two of them are and even if that means facing Esme wrath he did what he could to protect the women that he loves as all he wanted to do was to protect her from any harm as what makes her happy makes him want to do it more who wishes her harm he wishes to protect her from.

Mary and Kenna had circled around Lola trying to avoid getting hit by one another when Mary worriedly called out, " watch out! Don't hit Lola" Esme chucked picking up two snowballs throwing them at her sister as Lola shook her head with a wide smile on her face watching her friends have fun even the Queen of Scotland who is currently pregnant as it didn't surprise her as she would always find a way to have some fun especially after being cooped up in the tower, " I'm fine. I'm not that far along yet. The same can be said for Esme"
Esme grinned brightly as she turned to smile at her sister who entwined their arms together as Greer shook her head giggling slightly as she recalled all the memories she had with her friends since arriving at French court, " it wasn't so long ago that we were all talking about our first kisses. "And soon you will be as well" Kenna replied to the golden haired girl with a beaming smile as Esme nodded her head in agreement only for Greer to sign with an frustrated expression on her face as she stayed silent for a couple of moments before she then added in, " unless I ruin it before then or my father does. He's arriving today, and I'm worried he'll offend Lord Castleroy with too small of a dowry. We can't afford much"
