Leaving to go back to college this time felt different than ever before. I didn't feel too sad because I knew the next time I'd be coming home was for good.
Ashton grinned widely at me as I stood at the train station
'Anyone would think you couldn't wait to get rid of me' I giggled
'Well it's kind of true, I can sleep on my own now without having you plastered against me' he joked
I pouted trying to look upset but we both just laughed
'Are you sure you don't want me to drive you back babe?' Ash asking looking down at me
'I'm sure. This is the last time I can get the train back so I'll make the most of it because it's actually a nice journey. Some of the views I see are beautiful'
'My view right now is beautiful' he said putting his forehead on mine and placing his hands round my waist.
'Such a softie' I giggled
'But you love me'
'I sure do' I said and kissed him
I soon had to get on my train and I took my seat and looked out of the window at Ashton who stood smiling at me. I couldn't wait to come home again and be with him every day.
I paid attention to my surroundings on my journey this time as I knew I'd never get the chance to again. There was some truly breathtaking views that I'd never really noticed before but now I was actually looking, it was really nice.
When I got back to college and into my apartment, I saw Hazel and made my way over to her and sat down next to her
'Hey Haze' I said
'Hey babe, did you go home for the weekend?' She asked
'Yeah I did. I was telling my mum and Ash some good news. Guess what?' I smiled
'What?' She said, sitting up and looking at me
'I can go to the college near my home and carry on my course there next year'
'No way? That's great' she beamed 'I'll miss you so much but I'm so happy for you'
She lent forward and gave me a hug and I felt happier than ever
'We'll still be friends, right? Promise' She said pulling away from the hug and looking at me
'Promise. You can't get rid of me that easily' I giggled.
When I went back to my room, I looked around at all the things that had made the place my own for the past couple of months. Thinking about it, I probably would miss it here, the new friends I'd made, my teacher, the parties. But going home was better than all of that put together.

A week later as I walked out of class Ashley shouted me and pulled me back
'Is it true?' He said blunty
'Is what true?' I asked confused
'You're not coming back next year?'
'Um... Yeah'
'Yeah its true or yeah you are coming back?' He said
'Yeah it's true'
'When was you thinking of telling me?' He asked looking down at me
'I... I don't know' I replied
'Well thanks a lot' he said and began to walk off
'Ashley come back' I said and walked after him
