The cuts of broken glass were still freshly printed on your body while the scenes from the previous day along with the blazing flames, continued to burn in your memory.
Jonathan may have won his battle yesterday but he had lost everything else.
You stood among the ruins of the Joestar estate where you had literally spent your entire youth. Examining what remained intact from last night's great fire. Speedwagon and Jonathan stayed behind and rested. Especially the dark blue haired giant whose body was still recovering from the fight with Dio. You were glad to leave him in the care of the pretty woman named Erina whom you had met in passing when you paid him a little visit while he was still unconscious.
But perhaps the fight wasn't over yet and the war wasn't won.
That mask from yesterday is nowhere in sight. It could have been damaged between the stones or something but even then I should be able to find fragments. That worries me somehow. The thought crossed your mind as you sat down on one of the rocks between hours of searching without success. On the other hand you didn't have the archaeological knowledge of Jonathan.
Only the three of you knew about the tragedy. The police thought it was an accident.
"Hah." you let out a sigh and looked at the rising sun. Memories from before smoldered in your head. "I should have killed you in your sleep when I had the chance," you said, thinking back to the blond man.

"I really wonder how you survived the whole thing JoJo."
You walked next to Erina and stretched your head a little further forward so that you could look at your friend who seemed to be doing pretty well except his bandaged arm. You leaned back again with your arms crossed after that. "But I guess I'd be back on my feet in seconds too if I were being tended to by such a pretty lady as Lady Pendleton," you finish with a wink, earning only a sweet chuckle from said lady as well as a small smile from the Joestar heir.
Although you had to admit that it was amazing that JoJo - who was a human - could fight against a vampire who also bore the name Dio.
The smile on Jonathan's face abruptly disappeared when he noticed another presence behind him. Were you being followed?
Erina noticed the worried expression on his face. "Is something wrong?" she inquired, just then noticing the man in front of you sitting comfortably on the low stone wall while holding his lunch in his hand.
Had he been there earlier, too?
Jonathan's words also faltered in his mouth when he saw him, for he was just behind them!
The mysterious man in front of you finally greeted you "Mister Jonathan Joestar and Lady Erina Pendleton along with Miss [Y/N] Rosemary," he called out your names before jumping up towards JoJo while mentioning something about the mask.
