With the help of another port key, Hadrian appeared in front of Black manor and it was beautiful!
As he walked in, he could only guess how many rooms the three floor mansion held. But before Hadrian could explore, four creatures which he believed to be house elves appeared with a pop in front of him. They were all wearing black pillow cases and lined up in front of him with huge smiles on their faces. "Hellos master!" One of them squeaked as they stepped forward. "I is Milly, head elf. Wes would like to welcome you to Black manor!" Milly then bowed and stepped back as another stepped forward, this time a boy. "Hello master! My names Willard and is Milly's husband." He stops and points to the two remaining house elves who are slightly smaller than him and Milly. "These be our daughters, Daisy and Ivy." The two girls bow as he says their names and smile up at Hadrian with huge grins.
"Well it's nice to meet you four." Hadrian said trying to not get overwhelmed. "My name is Hadrian but you may call me Hades if you would prefer it." Milly turned to look at her family with wide eyes and soon all four were bowing at Hadrian's feet. "Wes do not deserve such a kind master! Master Hadrian is too kind!" They exclaimed as Raven chuckled at the look of shock on her hatchling's face. "I didn't mean to upset you!" Poor Hadrian exclaimed in confusion, "you don't have to call me Hades if you don't want to!" Milly realized that they have caused their kind, tiny master to freak out and frantically began to explain. "Do not worry master Hadrian. Wes just never been treated so kindly is all!" "Oh... well I am going to continue to be kind as I wished others were that kind to me. Now all I wish is for you all to keep the house clean and stocked with food. I enjoy cooking and gardening so don't worry too much about that. For now I want you all to learn proper English and get a nice uniform as no house elf of mine will ever be looked down on... got it?" Hadrian said and prayed the elves won't bow at his feet again. To his happy surprise they all just nod and disappear with another pop.
"Well Raven, that was fun." Hadrian said with a sigh. "Shall we explore some or just go straight to bed?" "Bed" Raven lazily hissed. It took a few tries and Hadrian found himself lost from time to time but eventually the two reach a bedroom and were quite quick to fall asleep. By morning, Hadrian woke up on his own, for one of the first times in his life, and felt happy and rested. He stretched his body across the bed and carefully sat up with Raven before stretching his wings as well. "Milly?" Hadrian called out. "Yes master Hadrian?" Milly responded almost instantly. "Can you take me to the master bedroom please?" Happy to finally have a master to serve again, Milly led a half asleep Hadrian through his new home and to the bathroom to help him get ready. Having already prepared him a much needed outfit the night before, she grabbed it for him. "Milly got yous new clothes already master as yous have none." She said with a giggle. Hadrian smiled at her in thanks and slipped the outfit on after letting out a groan at the sight of his bed head in the mirror.
"Does master need Milly's help?" Milly asked with a mischievous smile. Hadrian just nodded his head and pointed to his hair. To his surprise, Milly just snapped her fingers and gave him an entirely new haircut. She shaved the sides and the back leaving it only in the top and somehow worked her house elf magic making it took messy but tamed at the same time. It also revealed his now extremely faded lightning scar to the point most would not even notice it! As he looked in the mirror Milly had provided for him, Hadrian wondered if he can make the scar fade away. To his surprise it does but as he reached up to feel the spot, the slight indentation of his skin was still there. Shrugging his shoulders and mentally reminding himself to ask about it later, Hadrian put the mirror down and thanked the elf.
