Saphira stood there as she watched Jack attempt to get into the satellite dish system. She stopped crying softly as she wasn't going to let Miko's words keep her down. She refused to. Jack still had his arm around her shoulder, rubbing gently to keep her comforted which she appreciated a lot. Miko, thankfully, kept her mouth shut too as she refocused on Raf. They all knew why they were there, so they had to focus.
"I'm in!" Raf announced proudly, Saphira smiled and stepped forward to peer at the screen. "And so are the decepticons."
"What?!" Jack exclaimed, making Saphira roll her eyes because it should not have been much of a surprise.
"How can you tell?" Miko asked curiously with a frown.
"Schematics," Raf responded as he looked at the screen. Saphira watched as well, she saw what was on there and she couldn't read it either, and it seemed to be alien. "With the same alien math on their ship. But this time, I can download them." Raf put a USB into the computer to download the schematics.
"Good thinking, it might help us to disable their space bridge," Saphira said softly. "That is, if the autobots want to."
"What do you mean?" Jack asked curiously.
"You said it yourself, Jack. The autobots are stuck here on Earth with us. Ratchet has already expressed his disdain for humans, as you know." Saphira looked at the computer with a sad expression. "It was only a matter of time for them to return to their home."
"But, as far as we know, there is no home to go back to. If Cybertron has indeed been ravaged by war, I would think that they could not. It would be hard to repopulate that world." Saphira shrugged, she expected it to happen regardless. Jack saw the slight sadness on her face and sighed. "You think they will abandon us?"
"No, they won't. They will just leave, it is their right to go home after all, Jack. Everyone has a home...except me...but it is not our right to prevent them from leaving. Once the decepticons are gone, they can go home." Saphira's heart felt a little heavy as she thought about the day they would leave. "I will miss them of course, but...we are only human. They will forget about us very quickly."
"Let's not worry about that now," Raf said with a frown. He was slightly upset by the conversation he had just heard from Saphira and Jack. "The decepticons are syncing the space bridge to the dishes, it seems they will be locking onto Cybertron soon. But I can sync to them."
"Ehh, will they know?" Jack asked Raf nervously.
Raf smiled at him with a slight shrug. "Even if the decepticons see that I'm in the system, they'll have no idea I'm in the house."
"Let's hope it stays that way," Saphira said slowly, the sense of dread was growing and so was the bad feeling. "I have a bad feeling about all this."
"Oh please, don't start that!" Miko snapped at Saphira with a frown. "We are already here, and Raf is going to save the day!"
She rolled her eyes at the younger girl, shaking her head slightly. "I haven't been able to shake the feeling since we got here, Miko. It might be because this is the first time I am actually doing something to help the autobots."
"It's a good feeling, isn't it?" Jack asked her curiously.
She nodded with a small smile. "I think this would actually be the first time I have genuinely wanted to help someone."
He widened his grin at her. "That's good. That shows that you like them, despite what you seem to tell everyone."
She rolled her eyes, looking back at the computer screen. "You will never understand," She muttered under her breath.
