Momiji set out the fire works. Then he got up and was walking towards the kitchen but stop looking out the glass doors seeing akito standing there. He then opened the door. Oh. akito. It's so late. Momiji walked towards akito. What, um, what are you doing out here? Momiji asked. I came to see star takashi. Go get her for me. Akito said with a dark smile.

Star woke up scratching her head. I can't sleep. Maybe i'll go for a walk that'll cool me off. 
Back with akito and momiji. 
Something's come up and i  have to return home. At once. Regrettably, i havent been able to see the girl since i arrived, so... akito trailed off. Now? But star's already in bed, sleeping. Momiji says. Then go wake her. Akito says then takes a step forward but momiji blocks his path with his arms up. Hold on. Akito. I can tell you're mad, and if you see star, then you'll lash out, and she'll get hurt. What's wrong? Please tell me. What are you so upset about? Did something bad happen? Momiji asks. "What's wrong?" that's rich. Why are you asking? To get to know me? To understand me? Is that it? Akito glared at momiji then punched him in the face. Keep your false sympathy! It's a lie. All of it! You just wanna get the upper hand. To define me using your own twisted logic and paint me as a villain! Akito shouted holding momiji by his collar. LET HIM GO! Star shouted. Momiji gasp as he and akito look over at star who was shaking with anger. Star ran to them pushing akito back and stepping infront of momiji shelding him. Stop it! Leave him alone! Star shouted glaring at akito. What was that? It sounded a lot like you were giving me an order. How rude. Star's eyes widen as she grew more angry. Awful, really. I can tell. You're not a very nice person. Akito said. Star's eyes widened in shock. Akito. Momiji said as he put his face in his hands. But you see, star-- miss star takashi, i was kind enough to take the time to come visit. And no matter how disrespectful you might be to me, 
No don't touch me! Star shouted but she couldn't move.
There's something i need to tell you. Something important. Akito said as he reached for star and clutch the sides of her face. 
NO! She shouted shaking her head trying to lose his grip on her as akito brought her close to his face. Stop thinking you're special. Scum. akito said. Momiji gasped looking at star with fear. Star eyes shook in fear. You seem to believe you saved yuki and kyo. And that may just be the most arrogant thing i've ever heard. Little fool. You don't have the full story. Listen closely. Once high school is over, kyo will be locked away. Akito said making star's pulpuls go small as she gasps. Just like the previous cat, he'll be imprisoned for life. As for yuki and the others, they'll come back to the estate, where they belong. For good. All of the zodiac members will move through life together. Every step in tandem. Every breath shared. They will take nothing, and nothing will be taken from them. As it should be. Forever unchanging. A future of happiness, an eternal banquet. Enduring. Akito released star's face from his hands as her hair left his fingers leaving her shocked. That's what awaits them. And don't think for a second you're invited. Akito says walking away.

I don't know. What you're talking about, is it really happiness? Akito stopped walking. For kyo and all the others to be caged or confined to the estate. Akito turned around looking at star who glared at akito with tears in her eyes. "Forever unchanging." for their whole lives. But... they've been working so hard to move forward, no matter what it cost them! Star shouted. Enough. The only reason you think that's bad is because you're ignorant. And outsider like you can't understand what life is like for us. Don't try to judge our needs and desires using your petty values. They're not equipped for it. Akito said as he stared to the sky. Akito. Who are you? Star asked with hatred in her voice. Akito looked at her with a cold stare then made his way towards her. At first, i thought the rooster. But akito's something different. Something else entirely. Akito stood right in front of her. Who are you to the zodiac members? Are you...? 
Kyoko: once upon a time. 
Star eyes widen as she gasps relaxing who akito was. 
Kyoko: god made an invitation to the animals. God...
Akito put his hand on star's cheek. What did you think? That i was just another animal spirit? No. to them, i am god. Akito scratched star's cheek leaving three lines as the spilled blood from them. He then brough his hand back to himself. I am the master of their hearts and souls. They belong to me. Understand? Akito asked as star staired at him. Akito! Ah, there you are. I've been looking for you. Kureno said jogging to akito. I'm sorry, kureno. I just had to come see her before we left. Oh, riht. You two haent met, have you? Let me introduce kureno soma, the rooster. Akito introduced. Star gasps. Hello. Takashi. Kureno said. Um. hello. Star said. So he's the rooster. 
Akito came up to her pulling a stand of her hair as he leaned toward her ear. Rember this. The zodiac members will come back to me in the end-- every last one. They have to. We are inseparable. Time to back off. We don't need an outsider interfering with our happiness. So be a good little girl and mind your own business. If you don't you'll be punished. Akito said as he backed away slowly letting go of star's hair. Once akito and kureno left star fell to her knees. She could feel her knees getting scraped up but felt no pain. Akito is their god. The one who stands above all the zodiac members. Thats why they can't disobey even if they wanted to. What about the curse? The curse. A chain that spans generations. Invisible unknown, but it binds everything. Everyone. *gasps* even... akito. Somebody grabbed star's face turning her towards them mking her gasp. That looks painful. Hatori says looking at her face that was still bleeding. Go, doc. I'll see to her scrathes. Aren't you returing home with akito tonight? Shigure asked. Uh. hatori, you're-- and shigure, too? Star asked looking up at shigure. It won't kill them to wait on me a little bit. Hatori says standing. Shigure offered his hand to star. She took as she stood up. Um, what are you both doing here? Star asked as her voice still sounded shooken up. Shigure ran his hands through his hair. Momiji got me. The poor thing was absolutely terrified. White as a ghost. Shigure said making star gasp. She then turned to hatori grabbing his jacket. What happened to momiji? He's not hurt, is he? Star asked in a worried tone. Yes, but not badly. Hes right there. Hatori says steppin back from star a bit. Star gasps turning to momiji. Momijii! What happened? Are you all right? Star asked running up to momiji as he stared at the ground with a shadow covering his eyes. Once star was close to him he rose his head looking at star with dull eyes. Um... i think so. Momiji said turning his head to the side looking at the ground as his eyes watered. He then started sobbing. Star gasps. She then put her hand on his cheek. To me... your tears are precious. Star said then hugged momiji. Momiji cried then tilted his head. He then transformed into his bunny form. You're going to catch cold. Well that was an impressive display of courage. Our little bunny here put the other kids to shame. Shigure said as he watched star and momiji hug. What's that say about us? We're the adults here, aren't we? Hatori said. In the house yuki,haru, and kyo watched. Haru held kyo's forearm not lettin him go. There, you see? Akito is gone. I told you momiji would get the grown-ups to help. It's over now. Haru says. Kyo ripped his arm out of haru's grasp. While i stood by and did nothing. I'm so pathetic. Kyo says then walks away to his room. So... he thinks he's patetic, too. It isn't just me. Who knew? Yuki asked. That sarcasm? Haru asks. No, it's not. I'm serious. Yuki says. It isn't exactly easy, protecting someone. Haru says. Yuki gasps while staring at haru. 
Rin: don't tell anyone i'm here! 
That's why. Yuki says remembering what rin said. Uh? Haru asked. Oh. nothing. You're right, though. It can be hard, tryin to keep someone else safe. Yuki said going back too looking out side. 
Back in star's shared room with kisa. Momiji and kisa slept. Star sat on the side where momiji was sleeping cerasing the spot where the bandage covered his wound. It's hard. But even so, i wanna protect them, no matter what. No matter who i have to hurt. I'll go back to my delqent ways if it means to protect them. Star wiped the tear from momji's eyes as he still slept. She smiled softly humming. And... i will.
