1 week later:

Galaxy's POV

"I still can't believe she's gone," I whined. I wiped my eyes and sat down.

"I know," Wind whispered. "She sacrificed herself for us."

"It's for the best," Storm whimpered, his scales shifting to a dark, sad grey.

"Mhm," Blizzard said, his eyelids drooping. He'd been tired since we got back.

"Blizzard, wake up, you lump," Storm said, pushing Blizzard.

We were stranded in the desert now, but Blizzard found something - an egg - that'd just hatched. And she was a hybrid.

"What should we name her?" I asked. "She's a hybrid, remember? Sea-EarthWing?"

"Wavedust?"

"No, doesn't fit."

"Pebble?"

"No, doesn't fit her personality."

"How about Seastone?"

We all turned towards Storm, who'd just suggested that name.

"That's a perfect name," I said. "Seastone it is."

Three years passed before we knew it. Seastone grew and grew, and at the age of three, she was about bigger than me. Nice. Well. Not. Really. We had a home now: The Wild.

We'd travel for days to get to places. Seastone loved it. The dragonet had dark brown scales for EarthWing, a powerful tail for SeaWing, and green at the tips of her wings.

We all had all our strange personalities: Really, nothing changed.

But evil's still out there.

We're going to stop it, and if we fail, we'll see Vortex again.

Maybe.

Just... maybe
