Taehyung's POV-
I love Jungkook, but I don't think he really needed to go to the store at exactly 1:30 and stay for about the same amount of time that it would have taken Jimin to get his hair done.
I'm not saying that I don't enjoy spending time with Jungkook, we have a lot in common and usually get along perfectly. It's just that I can't help but feel like he's trying to keep/take Jimin away from me.
Ever since Jimin started talking to him again, Jungkook has been persistent in keeping Jimin's attention at all times. However, it just seems like he does it more when Jimin is hanging out with me, than with anyone else.
He brought up Jimin non-stop the whole time we were together today. "Jiminie hyung" this and "Jiminie hyung" that. When did he even start calling Jimin "hyung"??
When we got home, Jimin came out to help carry in the bags and to my utter surprise, his hair barely looked any different.
It was orange. Just like it had been before.
"Jimin, did you even get anything done to it?" I asked, puzzled.
"What? My hair? Does it look bad? We added more orange to get rid of the faded look, and make it more vibrant. Hyung said he thought it would look better that way for a little while. He likes my hair bright."
Yoongi hyung told Jimin not to do black? Hyung likes bright hair?
"It looks great." Jungkook said. "It's better."
Jimin smiles. "Thank you, Jungkookie-"
"Jimin!" Yoongi hyung called from the house.
My eyes widened as I realized that Jimin wasn't the only one that had his hair done today. Yoongi hyung's hair, to my utter amazement, is a lively mint color. It looks... great.
Jimin turned around and looked at him. "Come here. I need you to do something for me."
"Alright, I'm coming." Jimin says, and goes to the car to grab a few bags.
"No, you aren't!" Yoongi complains, and I'm surprised to see he's still standing there.
He usually tells someone to come with him and then takes off, as if whether they come with him or not isn't all that important to him.
Jimin turns to look at him, shakes his head with a fake annoyed expression on his face (his lips are twitching as if he is trying not to smile), and then goes in the house without any groceries. Leaving me and Jungkook alone again.
What was that? What was so important that Jimin had to go with him immediately?
"That was strange." Jungkook says, then shrugs. "Oh well."
Jin's POV-
*about a week later*
"Hyung, can I talk to you?"
I turn around to find Jimin in the doorway of my bedroom wringing his small hands together nervously.
"Of course. Come in and shut the door." I sit on the edge of the bed and give him my full attention.
"Okay, I'm telling you first, but I plan on telling everyone else soon also."
"Alright." I say, I'm really concerned. What could possibly have him this nervous?
"Alright. Okay, okay. Um. I, I like someone."
My heart literally jumps for joy. "What? Really? WHO?"
"Well, he's really sweet to me, and most people might not think it's likely-"
"Jimin! WHO?"
"-nd he kinda likes me back, so we are kinda a thing-"
I'm gonna strangle this kid. "WHO? WHO, WHO, WHO??"
Jimin takes a breath in and looks me in the eyes. "Yoongi-ah."
***
Jimin and Yoongi did not keep what was going on between them discreet, but they didn't exactly announce it.
They spent a lot of time together and often stopped talking at the dinner table to just kind of stare at each other. Jimin would always look away first and Yoongi would look at him for a few seconds longer and then let his gaze down.
"Jin hyung!" Taehyung presses his face between my shoulder blades as I'm walking down the hallway, wrapping his arms around my middle in a back hug and waddling us through the house.
"What?"
"I want some kimchi-bokkeum-bap." he whines, his deep voice muffled in my sweater.
"What does that have to do with me? The kitchen is that way."
"Hyung..." Taehyung complains, coming around to stand in front of me and give me puppy eyes.
I hear something drop and crash in the kitchen, and start to try to guess what Joonie broke, but then I hear Jungkook's voice. "Bro, what the fuck?!"
Taehyung and I rush to the kitchen to see what is going on. "What's wrong?"
When I arrive, instead of seeing something outrageous, all I see is Jimin leaning against the counter with red cheeks and downcast eyes. Yoongi is only about a foot away from him, looking at Jungkook with an expression that seems to be slightly annoyed and very uninterested.
There is a broken plate at Jungkook's feet and I look at it and then him. His eyes are locked on Jimin. He looks furious.
"What is it, Jungkook?!"
Namjoon has arrived and Hoseok comes in too. "What's going on here?"
"They were kissing. They were fucking kissing I saw them!" Jungkook says, pointing at Yoongi and Jimin.
Taehyung's POV-
"Is this some sort of hidden camera? Are you joking, Jungkook?" Hoseok looks around the room.
I am looking at Jimin. He's not looking at anyone. He won't lift his eyes from the ground, his cheeks are red, and he keeps biting his lips.
"It's true," I find myself saying, "Isn't it?"
Yoongi lifts a hand and taps a finger quickly under Jimin's chin, lifting Jimin's head up. Jimin meets his eyes for about three seconds and Yoongi nods, pushing one hand through Jimin's hair casually.
"Yes, it is true." Jimin says confidently, as if Yoongi gave him strength. "He is my boyfriend. We're allowed to kiss, right?"
My eyes drift to Yoongi hyung as I feel an emotion so painful I can't put a name on it at first.
Wait... It's coming to me.
Betrayal.
~A/N: It's extremely evident what is going on here, right? 😂
