After an hour of traveling, they made it home from barkingburg
"Man it feels good to be back" rubble stretched "yep barkingburg is fun but I do sure love being back" added Zuma 
Chase and Skye soon follow behind 
"Skye?. Are you ok that cough hasn't gone away" he looked back at her with a nervous smile as the two walked down from the air patroller 
"I'm ok chase, I'm sure it's not that big of a deal" skye reassured him 
Yet skye knew something was off with her she felt more hot than usual 
"Could we at least go to Katie's just to be sure" he begged her "chase I appreciate you worrying but I don't know" while pawing the ground
Skye always loved how chase worried it was one of the things that made chase charming to her but she knew going to Katie's may reveal something she might not like 
"Hey you two " the husky barged in "oh hey Everest " skye replied 
"So what's up with you two" 
Everest said knowing something is off with skye but she could not know exactly what was wrong with her 
"Oh it's just skye has a cough and pants for a bit and I want her to go to Katie's to get checked out but she's being stubborn" 
"I'm not being stubborn chase it's just I don't feel like going and I'm fine it's not a big deal"
Yet when she looked at Everest she could tell she was about to get lectured on why she needs to go to Katie's 
Everest sighed "skye come on it's just a simple visit and also Katie has not seen you yet I'm sure you going will make her happy. plus you get to make sure everything is alright"
Hearing her friends lecture and seeing chase worried skye caves in and decides to go
"Ok you two I gave up I'll go to Katie's if you two stop worrying" 
To which chase and Everest are glad to hear 
"Ok, we can head there right now skye along with chase. jr he needs a check-up too"
"Hey chase" Everest said merrily
"Do you think I can take skye and your pup there instead I've been meaning to ask Katie for something" she said 
"Um sure" he replied 
"Great come on you two" as she grabbed both skye and chase. jr as quickly as possible "ok that's weird?" 
"What's weird bud" turning around to see it's marshall 
"Um do you know what Everest needed to ask Katie" to which his best friend just shakes his head 
"Nope, no clue but I wanted to ask do you want to go park for old time sake" marshall suggests. it's been years since the two have been at a park the last time is when there were still pups 
"Sure let's go" the German shepherd agreed as the two walked to the old park in adventure bay 
With skye and Everest and chase.jr
"So are you feeling alright skye," her concerned friend asked looking over her
"Oh not you two, it's not a big deal Everest" but for Everest knowing what she heard back on the air patroller she had to ask 
Everest turns to skye 
"Skye it is a big deal" she expressed " Everest, I'm fine also why did you take the both of us instead of chase? You know you could've tagged along, right?" 
Everest sighs "It's because I notice back on the air patroller you were coughing and panting and saying you were feeling hot and to me, those look like warning signs and I think it is better if I came along with you instead " she clarified
Skye tilts her head and gives a confused look she knew something was a bit off with her but she did not believe it can be that serious 
"What warning signs for what?" Everest was hesitant to answer "how about we get to Katies first" she shot that question down making skye feel uneasy about what she meant
