We finished out the game, no goals let up. The crowd went wild when the whistle blew, and my whole team sprinted out to me as if we just won the World Cup or something.
I couldn't wipe the stupid smile off my face again.
There were tons of cameras and stuff around us, so much clicking.
I hugged Ashley so tight, not saying anything in fear of being heard by a camera.
And then I ran to Trinity, and jumped into her arms, knocking her over and making the rest of the team laugh.
"From winning that division trophy when we were 7 to winning the challenge cup trophy now..." I said when the camera came over to interview us. "We've been through everything together. She's my best friend, and I wouldn't want to win this first professional trophy with anyone else or any other team."
"Hey Kyla." Trinity said when we were still on the interview.
"What?"
"Look over there."
I looked to my right, and I saw my dad in the stands.
I took off without a word, and jumped the fence to give him a hug.
"That's all you, kid." He said.
"I can't believe you came!"
"I wouldn't miss it."
Trinity came over, that camera still following her.
"Nick!" She said happily, running to give him a hug.
"How are you kid?" He asked her.
"I'm doing great right now." She laughed. "And that's all Kyla."
"You had a great game too."
We talked to my dad for a little while longer, and then we went to go to get our trophy.
After about a million pictures and interviews, I finally got back home, and I hung up my jersey on the door of my closet.
I went to the recording of the game to see the interviews and stuff after it, and then I heard a knock at my apartment door.
"Hey challenge cup MVP." Ashley said, leaning against my door frame.
I didn't say anything, just showed her the note that she left in my locker earlier.
"So is this true?" I asked.
"Yes."
"You forgive me?"
"Maybe."
"Ashley."
"I forgive you, Kyla."
Then she leaned in, and kissed me.
I felt my face turn bright res, and I was just so insanely happy in that moment. Nothing could ruin my mood.
"I don't know if you got the text or not, but we're having a celebratory bonfire at Kelley's if you want to come." She said.
"That sounds fun." I smiled, grabbing my keys and phone. "Kelley really likes bonfires, doesn't she?"
"She loves 'em." Ashley laughed. "And I love you."

2 Months Later
"So you're sure we should really do this?" Ashley asked, looking down at the Instagram post she had ready to upload.
"I'm very sure." I smiled. "I messed up our relationship last time by keeping it a secret, I don't want that to happen ever again."
"Do you think people will hate us?"
"Be fearless, Ashley. Be fearless."
She smiled, and then hit the post button.
It was a picture that exposed our relationship before the media did.
The post said:
"And I don't know why, but with you I'd dance in a storm in by best dress, fearless."
So that's it!!! I hope you guys enjoyed this one. It was fun to write.
But, after working on it for almost 6 months, the sequel is finally done.
I am literally so excited to share it. Tomorrow I will start publishing more chapters to Mal and Morgana's story.
I don't really think this story will have a sequel, but because I don't think I can live without Mal and Morgana I will probably write even more to their story.
But anyway, I hope you enjoyed this story! Let me know who I should write about next for when the sequel is done. Or maybe I've already got something.
Well I'll see you tomorrow in the sequel :)
