A week passed by after the rejection, and (Y/n) felt a little stupid for making herself believe that something bad would happen.
She blamed it on the fact that she watched one too many drama with her mom to make her think that way, or on her imagination. Regardless, the girl felt happy that everything was alright and normal, as always.
So with a light skip in her steps (Y/n) left Kakucho's classroom and went to her own.
Once there, she was met with a room semi full with her classmates. Happily, she greeted some of the girls, who returned the gesture, and went to her usual spot. But as she reached the place, she was met with her whole desk being ruined by markers.
Words like 'dumb', 'freak', 'abandoned kid' and 'weirdo' were written all over the wooden desk, causing (Y/n) to gasp a little.
''What even? Who wrote this?''
But before she could inspect the table any further, the teacher walked inside and told everyone to sit down.
(Y/n) gulped and rose her hand, causing the older woman to look at her in confusion.
''Yes, (Y/n)-chan?''
''My desk is ruined.''
The girl simply stated, pointing at the said object.

The woman got up from her spot and went to look at it, causing the rest of the classroom to look at it as well. The teacher, horrified by the words written on it, turned to look at (Y/n).
''You go and sit over there for today, I will ask for the janitor to clean up the desk for you, ok?''
The woman asked softly, and (Y/n) nodded her head, taking her stuff and sitting next to one of her friends, still a little shaken up from those words.
'Weird...'

After school...
(Y/n) finished packing up her things, trying to hurry and meet up with Takuya, Takemichi and Kakucho outside. But just as she was about to leave, the teacher stopped her, a concerned and somewhat angry look plastered on her face.
''(Y/n), can you come over here? I want to talk to you.''
She rose her eyebrow, nodding her hed as some boys giggled.
The door closed and the teacher sighed, sitting down on her chair.

''(Y/n), how have you been these days? Everything alright at...home.''
(Y/n) flinched at the way she said it, not missing the somewhat disgusted look on her face, which soon got covered up by the previous concerned look.
''Yes, Sato-sensei! Mom and I have been going to the botanic garden very often, the flowers there are so pretty!'' (Y/n) said excitedly, but the look was soon replaced by a worried one as the teacher shook her head.
''(Y/n). You know you can talk to me when there are issues. I know how hard it must be for you to adjust to everything, but that is still no reason to destroy school property.''
''What do you mean...I didn't do anything.'' (Y/n) said, worried where the teacher got that idea from, she would never touch anything in such a aggressive way, first it was rude, and second she didn't want to give any trouble to her mom.
The teacher looked at her blankly for a moment, then got up to guide the girl towards the destroyed table. (Y/n) blinked at it for a minute, wondering what she had to do with this, after all, she found her table in such a state.
''(Y/n), I know that you might have some issues from everything in the past, and if you need extra attention you can tell me. This is a immature way of asking for it.''
''What?! I didn't do this, I swear I found my table this way! I would never write stuff like this-''
(Y/n) tried to defend herself, growing scared at the accusations and what they may cause, but the teacher shaking her head shut her up. The woman bend down and looked directly into her eyes.
''A few students saw you do that (Y/n), please don't lie to me, I thought you were better than that. Now, since this was your first incident, I will let it slide, but I will go get some water and a rag for you to clean up. It wouldn't be fair on the poor janitor to do your work.''
The woman got up and left the classroom as (Y/n) stared at her in disbelief. The girl gulped and looked back at her desk, wondring who accused her of this.
