Prologue.

It had been four weeks since Calum had left for tour, and it had been five weeks since he decided he couldn't cope with a long distance relationship. But that's what Eleanor didn't understand. It wasn't really a long distance relationship. It was more like him going on holiday for a few months rather than a few weeks. But even so, if they truly loved each other they could have figured something out, right? Apparently not.

Calum thought it would be easier to be apart from her if they were no longer in a relationship. But boy was he wrong. He missed her more than he ever thought he could. She missed him too. She missed him so much; she had barely left her bed for the past five weeks. But of course, Calum couldn't do that. No matter how much he wanted to. Instead, he had to get up every day and play for thousands of screaming girls. He loved what he got to do as a job; he just wished he hadn't let it ruin his relationship.

Calum didn't go anywhere other than to the arena where he'd be playing that night. He didn't go to any clubs with the boys anymore, and he didn't go to any after-parties either. Every night he fought the urge to pick up the phone and ring Eleanor. To tell her what a stupid mistake he had made. But he couldn't do that. Instead, he would cuddle himself into his pillow and silently cry himself to sleep.

No doubt about it, Calum regretted his actions.
