Chapter 5 - The Party

                                    

                                          
ALEXIS POV:
                          
"Thank god it's Friday," Tyla says to me as we walk out of the school gates.
                          
"I know right!" I answer him as I look for Beaus car.
                          
"So you coming to the beach party tomorrow?" Tyla asks me. I don’t answer him as I am too busy looking for Beau, I haven’t seen Luke all day because he has the flu.
                          
"Earth to Lexi?" Tyla says waving his hand in my face.
                          
"Oh sorry, what?" I ask.
                          
"The beach party? You going?" he asks.
                          
"Oh, um I don’t know, depends if Luke is better," I answer.
                          
"Oh yeah, tell him to text me when you see him," he says.
                          
"Yeah sure, see ya Ty," I say as he walks off to his mums car. He waves bye and I look around for Beaus car. I can’t find Jai so I guess I will have to text Beau.
                          
Me: Hey, where are you? Is Jai with you? :)
                          
Beau: Hey, just parked across from the park, couldn’t get a spot near the school sorry, yeah he is with me. :)
                          
Me: Okay, coming now.
                          
I head towards the park that's a block away from the school. Soon enough I see Jai standing outside Beaus car on his phone, probably tweeting or something.
                          
"Hey stranger," I shout to Jai as I run up to him.
                          
"What do you mean?" he asks.
                          
"I haven’t seen you all day," I say.
                          
"Oh right, sorry," he says with his cute smile.
                          
"Shotgun front seat!" I yell as I run around to the passenger side of Beaus car.
                          
"But you always get front seat!" Jai whines. I laugh as I hop in.
                          
"Hey, how was school?" Beau asks.
                          
"Boring," I answer.
                          
He laughs, "I am so glad I have finished."
                          
"You are lucky, I still got one and half years!" I answer. I have been going out with Luke for two weeks now. Beau and I have gotten heaps close, I can tell him everything and same with Jai. They are like the older brothers I never had.
                          
"How is Luke?" I ask as Beau drives us home.
                          
"He is a lot better actually. He only has a sore throat now," Beau says.
                          
"That's good, do you reckon he will be going to the party tomorrow?" I ask him.
                          
"Yeah, he said he was gonna go this morning," Beau says. "Okay," I answer.
                          
About ten minutes past and Beau pulls into his driveway.
                          
"Thanks for the lift," I say to Beau.
                          
"Anything for my little sister," he says with a wink. I laugh as I jump out of the car and run into the house. I run to Luke and Jai's bedroom where Luke has been for three days straight. I open the door to find Luke laying on his bed watching a movie.
                          
"Lexi!" he smiles.
                          
"How are you?" I ask as I put my bag down.
                          
"Better," he says.
                          
"That's good," I answer.
                          
"I've missed you," he says.
                          
"It has been a day Luke," I giggle.
