Part 2 : Amanda (I)

                                    

                                          
The whole people kept complaining and wondering who was messing with the school system. The electricity was turned back on and everything back in place after the school electricians had connected everything back.
" I apologize for the sudden black out, we had an issue at the computer room" the principal apologized. 
The new students were welcomed once again before the orientation dismissal. 
" Amanda" Bianca called out from the crowd of people. Amanda turned towards her direction
" Bianca, I thought you had left?" She asked
" Nope, I was waiting for you, you have to sleep over my house today" Bianca told her
" Sorry, I wish I can but I have to be back at my dorm tonight to meet my new roommate" Amanda said
" Can I join you?, I don't want to be lonely at home" Bianca said making a pitiful face at her
" You know that's not a good idea Bianca, you are my best friend and I know that a place like the dorm inconveniences you. Beside; you are short tempered and won't tolerate a strangers behavior" Amanda said to her
" You know me too well, I am flattered" Bianca said
" We have been friends since junior class, we know each others flaws" Amanda said and Bianca laughed
" Alright, see you in school tomorrow, and remember to call me if your new roommate annoys you; I will have my mother tell the principal to change her" Bianca said
" Don't Bianca, you know I don't like it when your mother do me favors" Amanda said
" Sorry, I was just teasing you" Bianca said to her. They hugged each other before taking a different direction.

" You are the new girl?" Amanda asked as soon as she got to her dorm and met Rebecca standing at the door
" Yes, I guess I am your new roommate" Rebecca responded smiling at her but Amanda didn't smile back at her. She just reached for her key and opened the door why escorting herself inside
" Not friendly" Rebecca said to herself. She dragged her luggage inside and dropped them at the side of her own bed. The room wasn't spacious but it was tidy, it had two beds on it with each of them opposite each other. 
" The bathroom and toilet are over there, please keep them tidy" Amanda said to her from her own bed
" Alright, it's there any rule you want me to abide to?" Rebecca curiously asked
" Don't come back late, don't invite strangers, no invading of each other's privacy and keep the room hygienic " she said and Rebecca nodded her head in agreement. " This is your spare key" Amanda said again as she threw the spare key at her.
" Thanks" Rebecca replied why reaching for the key. Rebecca unpacked her stuffs and arranged them at the right place. She didn't also forget to call her mum,
" Hello mum, how is grandma?' she asked
" Grandma is fine, she is sleeping right now after taking her medicine" her mother replied
" Okay, I was able to find a free space at the dorm mum" she said
" That's good sweetie, hope your roommate is nice?" Her mother asked
" Yes... Yes of course" Rebecca responded although she knew it wasn't true
" How was your first day at school?" Her mother asked
" It was better than I expected, I thought there were going to be bullies but it was a different story" Rebecca said 
" I am much at peace to hear that, take good care of yourself Rebecca and don't forget to take your medicine in other to get better" her mother reminded her
