Part 46: Surprise!!

                                    

                                          
*March 19th 6:17 a.m. Sunday*
*Still Y/N's POV*
I woke up sick to my stomach. I got out of bed not waking Nick and ran to my bathroom. I began to throw up. This happened yesterday as well. I knew I was eating and I knew I wasn't sick. After I finished throwing up I flushed the toilet and left my room. I went to Niki's room knocking once. She opened the door quickly. 
"Hey Y/N! Come in," Niki said moving so I could walk in. I did. "Umm, there is no like... easy way I can put the but umm I am throwing up and well, y know." I said shrugging. "Y/n... when was your last period?" Niki said catching on to what I was hinting at. "I'm a week and a half late." I responded dropping my head to look at the floor. "Okay, I have pregnancy tests... come here." Niki said walking over to her bathroom. She gave me the box. "Take one, if it comes back positive we'll do two more." Niki said leaving her bathroom shutting the door behind her.
I did the test and put on a timer. Niki came back into the bathroom. The timer went off and my heart was pumping. 
"Before we look what do you want it to be?" Niki asked looking me square in the eye. "Well... I'm 18, I have a good income. And if I was pregnant, I wouldn't be mad. Maybe overwhelmed and happy. But I don't know if Nick wants a kid now, he wants kids and so do I. But is now to early?!" I was a mess. "If it's negative I would also not be mad. I just wish I could know if Nick would be okay with it." I sighed. "If Nick doesn't want kids, and it's positive..." Niki trailed off. "Will I keep the baby? Yeah probably." I responded knowing what she was asking. "Okay." She sighed as well. "You look first!" I said pulling my legs to my chest placing my head down. Niki gasped. "What?! What is it?!" I asked. "Do you want to do two more? See if it was a false positive." I nodded gulping. 
Niki left. I took two more tests. They both came back positive. 
"Oh my god... I'm- I'm pregnant!" I said as I began to cry. It was a mix of overwhelmed and happy tears. "Are you okay?" Niki asked pulling me into a hug. I nodded. "How do I tell Nick?" I asked worried. "Well... I have ended up buying that mug we were talking about... about a week ago. Something told me to buy it, so I did," Niki said turning to her room to grab it. She handed it to me once she grabbed it. "Well then... I better go make some coffee for him." I said nervously. "I'm sure he will be happy." Niki said smiling. I went down stairs and made Nick and I a cup of coffee. Once I finished making them I walked up to my room. Nick was up and playing on his phone. 
"Mmm! Hey baby, where did you go?" Nick asked putting his phone down. "I made us some coffee," I said trying to hide my nerves. "Ooo! Thank you baby!" Nick said taking the cup I handed him. 
I sat down next to his legs. We began talking about prom and school. I knew I had about five minutes before he knew. I was terrified. My mind began to race.
"I like this mug," Nick said smiling at me. "I'm glad you like it. How much more coffee do you have?" I asked placing mine down on the bedside table. "Only a bit, why?" Nick asked. "No reason," I said giving him a kiss. 
He went to take his last sip so I watched his expression. He gulped down the coffee then realized the words. His head turned to me. I bit my bottom lip scared. 
"Baby... is this true?" He asked at the verge of tears. I nodded my head slowly. Tears spilled down his face pulling me into a hug. "I-I'm going to be a dad...?" Nick said kissing my head. "Y-yeah, are you okay with that?" I asked. "Of course I am. We are both adults... have a good income." Nick said pulling out of the hug. I sat on his lap facing him. "I took three test." I said pulling them out of my back pocket. Nick looked at them. "We can change my room into a nursery" he suggested. "Mmm, that would be good." I said tired. "How are you going to tell your parents?" Nick asked. "The same way I told you, how are you going to tell your mom?" I asked. "We should get shirts, and pay her a visit." Nick said smiling. "That is smart," I said giggling. "I'm going to make dad and father some coffee would you care to join?" I asked smiling. "I'd love to, besides... I need more," Nick said as the two of us got up. 
We grabbed our cups and walked downstairs. Niki was in the kitchen when we got in there.
"Oh hey," Niki said once we came in. "Hey, oh! And if you don't mind, don't tell anyone yet, I think we'll tell them once both our parents know," I said smiling at her. "My lips are sealed." Niki stated. 
I put coffee in Nick's, Dad's, father's and I's cups. Nick took mine and I grabbed the other two. We got in front of their door and I knocked. 
"Come in," Fathers voice yelled out. Nick opened the door. Father and Dad were sitting in arm chairs that was in their room. I walked over to them. "Good morning," I said handing them both a cup. "Oooo, coffee! Thank you honey," dad said with a bright smile. "Thank you," father said also with a smile. 
Nick handed me my cup as they drank their coffee.the four of us talked for about 7 minutes.
"Oh my gosh... Y/N," dad said. "Honey... is it true?" Father asked confused. I nodded my head terrified. Dad began to cry. "We are going to be grandparents?!" Dad said through tears. "Yeah," I said also tearing up. "You aren't mad?" I asked nervously. Father stood up and pulled me into a hug. "No, never." Father said kissing me on the cheek. "We were thinking about turning my room into a nursery," Nick spoke from beside me. "Ohh, that would be amazing," dad smiled. "When did you find out?" Father asked. "This morning," I responded. "She told me the same way," Nick smiled.
