❞ I'm grounded. ❞Y/N spoke, the table erupting in confusion." How'd you get grounded? You're as straight as an arrow-" "Stayed out past curfew. My mom and dad totally flipped their shit when I got home at like 2 in the morning." Y/N explained."The hell were you even doing out that late?" Jace asked in laughter."I needed time to myself, so I was out by the lake." She lied through her teeth.
"When are they ungrounding you?" Eric asked, a majority of the table wanting to know."Next month. I'm totally screwed over." She sighed, and indeed she was. During this time, she didn't talk to Eddie, after all, it was his fault she was grounded.
So she took it into her hands to avoid him at all costs for now, feeling a bit embarrassed about her confession last night as well. She should've gone home when she thought she should, but no one works harder than the devil. Besides Eddie Munson. A month of her life was gone because she stayed a few hours over curfew to make out with that long-haired freak.
"Y/N what's your problem?-" "Don't wanna talk right now Eddie." She muttered, walking past him.

The girl huffed, tossing herself into bed as she stared at the ceiling. They took her phone too. It was about maybe 3 weeks into her being grounded, though it didn't change her boredom.
She got comfortable in her bed, glancing out of the large clear window as she could see the stars and road clearly. Y/N ate dinner before, bringing it upstairs and eating it there. It was now around 10:30 pm, her family being asleep. She quickly closed her curtains, yawning in exhaustion.
She glanced over at the empty dinner plate, huffing in annoyance as she got up, taking it downstairs. The sink dripped in the silent home, creeping her out as she turned it all the way off.
As Y/N made her way to the fridge to grab a water, she heard the floorboards creak, the woman immediately running upstairs to her room and locking the door. As she sighed and opened her water bottle she turned off her lamp and laid down, taking a sip.
Her eyes closed gently, though then she heard knocking. Who the hell was at her bedroom door? She peeked out of it, but there was no one at all, just darkness. Despite that, she still heard knocking. As she closed her room door she glanced over to her window, walking to it carefully. As she arrived she paused, slowly opening the curtains as she was met with a familiar face. Eddie Munson.
It was cold outside, the woman's window foggy. He then wrote on the glass with his finger. "Open up princess." With a small heart at the end. He had climbed a tree to get to her bedroom. Y/N smiled slightly despite the grudge, opening the window as he slipped in, fumbling on the floor without moving for a minute.
Then in a swift movement, he rolled over, now on his stomach with a smile as he kicked his feet like a school girl in love. "I thought you could use some company." He laughed, Y/N sighing."I wouldn't need company if you let me go home on time."
she began, the man standing up as he looked down at her, gripping her waist."We all make mistakes-" "Your mistake got me in trouble-" "I didn't know your parents were that strict-" "It still happened-" she argued back, the man's hands snaking around her as they locked eyes. She was at a loss for words as it was like he was staring into her soul. He then spoke,
"Well let me make it up to you."
