Sammy sat for the second time on the same table with the same tray of food, a part of her waiting for Ashton to sit next to her. As if the heavens heard her wishes, Ashton strolled to the table, and took a seat next to her.

"Hello." He greeted graciously.

"Hey." She smiled at him as she watched him set his food on the table, biting down on her food. "How's everything going on?" He asked, as if he didn't actually know that she's still a newbie.

"It's fine, I guess." She said, in a rather questioning tone. He nodded slowly, and they shared a couple minutes of silence. They ate in silence, until Sammy decided to cut it, saying, "How long have you been here?"

Ashton looked at her, then down at his food, "Uhh, about four years." He said, a little ashamed. Sammy muttered an 'oh', feeling guilty for making him remember things, he didn't possibly want to.

"I'm sorry I brought back memories." She apologized, feeling as if he deserved to be apologized for.

"No, It's okay. It's not like I ever forgot anyway." He said, looking at the distance. Sammy's bottom lip quirved in a pout, as she looked at him sighing heavily, as if there were a really heavy burden on his shoulders.

she suddenly, with no warning, took him in her arms. It was obvious that he was just as surprised, as he didn't hug back for a moment. "I-I thought you needed it." Sammy stuttered, pulling away.

"Thanks, I actually did," He smiled beautifully at her, "You're such a great friend." He complimented. She smiled, thanking him.

He sat closer to her, him, now, wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her upper body close to his own hard one. "You need it more." He mumbled in her shoulder, and she smiled to herself, hugging him a little more tight.

"She took comfort in knowing, somewhere on the planet, someone might be as miserable as she was." -The Time Keeper.
