Chapter 24

                                    

                                          
"Hiii dad" jungkook said with the widest smile on his face. 
"J-jungkook-ah" he heard his father's voice and his smile fade away.
"Dad what's wrong," jungkook said. He was getting worried now.
"Jungkook-ah you're brother was in an accident and doctors couldn't save him" his father cried on the phone.

Yoongi looked at the door waiting for jungkook to return but it had been too long. He walked out the door in search of the younger when he saw jungkook curled up on the floor crying. He ran to him and kneeled beside him taking the younger's head in his lap.
"Hy jungkookie what's wrong why are you crying," he said shaking the younger's shoulder with worry.
Jungkook looked up and saw his boyfriend but before he could say anything, darkness took over him.
Yoongi noticed jungkook passing out in his arms.
"Naamjoon jin" he screamed for help, Tears falling from his eyes. He took the unconscious boy in his arm and walked towards the room they were partying.
He entered the room with jungkook in his arms, gathering the attention of his bandmates.
"Hyung what happened to jungkook," Jimin asked and ran to the older.
"I d-don't know. I found him crying in the lobby and then he passed out" yoongi placed and boy on the couch and sat beside him placing the younger's head on his lap.
"Manager is calling me," namjoon said and all the eyes turned to him. 
"Pick it up," jin said and namjoon nodded. He went out of the room to pick up the call.
"Jungkookie please wake up, you're scaring me" yoongi cried rubbing his thumb on the younger's cheek.
"Calm down Hyung," tae said rubbing yoongi's shoulder.
"Guys" namjoon entered the room looking devastated.
"What is it Hyung," Jimin asked.
"It's jungkook's brother," namjoon said his voice cracking.
"What about him?" Yoongi asked. He was getting impatient.
"He had an accident and he didn't make it" namjoon said tears falling down his eyes.
Yoongi and everybody just stared at him. Too shocked to say anything. Yoongi looked down at his beloved boyfriend with teary eyes. His father must have told him when he called. He took jungkooks hand in his and cried. Everybody was crying now. They all knew how much jungkook loved his brother and how devastating it was going to be for him. 
Jungkook opened his eyes after what felt like hours. He looked around and saw all his hyungs sitting beside him with sad looks on their face. His head was resting on someone's lap. He looked up and saw yoongi staring out of the window. His hand gently moved in the younger's hair.
Yoongi felt jungkook stirring on his lap he looked down and saw jungkook looking at him with tired eyes.
"Jungkookie" yoongi said gently and cupped younger cheeks in his hands.
"H-Hyung" jungkook barely whispered before tears formed in his eyes. He couldn't speak but it was more than enough for yoongi to engulf him in his arms. He wrapped his arms around jungkook and let him cry in his chest.
"I'm sorry baby" yoongi cried too hugging jungkook tighter. All others were just looking at them. It broke their heart seeing their youngest like this.
"Manager booked jungkook's ticket to Busan for the morning," Namjoon said.
"Tell him to book one more. I'm not letting him go alone" yoongi said between sobs and hugged jungkook tighter.
"Okay Hyung," namjoon said in a sad voice.
Jungkook cried in yoongi's arms for hours. They came back to the dorm and yoongi took jungkook to their room. Younger won't talk to anybody, he just sat there lifeless. 
Yoongi looked at him and his heart hurts. He just wanted to make him feel better but he didn't know what to do. He walked to the younger boy sitting on the bed with his knees to his chest. He was staring out of the window. 
"Baby" yoongi said gently, brushing his hand on the younger's hair. Jungkook looked at him. His eyes has lost their spark and they looked tried.
He just hugged the younger, making him rest his head on his chest.
"I love you, jungkook. Everything will be okay" yoongi said kissing the younger's head. Jungkook didn't say anything. He just buried his head in the older's chest and sobbed quietly. 
They stayed in the same position till jungkook was asleep in his arms. Yoongi changed the younger's clothes and tucked him in the bed before lying beside him. 
"I know it's going to be so hard for you jungkookie but you are not alone. I'm with you always. Please know that" yoongi whispered and kissed the younger's forehead before wrapping his arms around him.
Jungkook woke up in the morning before anyone, even before the sunrise. He looked beside him and saw yoongi sleeping. Even during this devastating time, he was thankful that yoongi was by his side.
He walked to the window and looked outside, revisiting all the moments he spent with his brother. They all were good memories but he never thought that someday his heart will hurt this much remembering those moments. His brother was there for him at every step of his career and he was so grateful. The only thing he regretted was that he never told him how much he loved him and appreciated his support.
Jungkook felt a tear falling from his cheeks. He wiped it with the back of his hand and continue looking out of the window. His parents must have been devastated, he thought. He needs to be a responsible son and take care of his parents. He's all they have got now. No matter how much he's hurting, he needs to be strong for them. 
His train of thoughts was interrupted when he heard yoongi waking up. He walked to the bed and lay beside him. 
"Good morning," jungkook said with a little sad smile on his face. 
"Good morning baby" yoongi turned to face jungkook and placed the palm of his hand on his cheek.
"Are you okay?" Yoongi asked gently.
"I'm okay" jungkook nodded and kissed yoongi's palm.
"We have a flight in a few hours kookie you should rest," yoongi said rubbing olders cheeks.
"You're coming with me?" Jungkook asked older.
"Yes, I'm coming with you baby," Yoongi said and jungkook just smiled a little.
"Thank You," jungkook said and took the older's hand, which was resting on his face, in his hand and kissed it.
"Are you sure you're okay kookie" yoongi asked? He was concerned for his boyfriend.
"I will be,  now that I have you with me," jungkook said. Yoongi was the only thing that was keeping him together at that moment. If it wasn't for yoongi, he would break apart.
Jungkook leaned in and kissed his boyfriend. He didn't know when tears started falling from his eyes. Yoongi cupped the younger's face and kissed him more lovingly, wiping his tears with his thump while kissing him. Yoongi broke the kiss and kissed jungkook's forehead and then his wet eyes. 
He whispered 'I love you' on jungkook's lips before pulling him closer to him and hugging him for dear life.
