the party began in an hour. there were a lot of people, jay was actually questioning if it was only fifty people or much more. it was hard to find a place in the house where there weren't any people.
he only hang out with heeseung, but he honestly felt bad for walking around with him like a kid, so he found jake and decided to stay with him for the rest of the party.
jake didn't even plan on moving from the armchair. after the last match he got muscle soreness and it was hard for him to walk ever since.
"you should've stayed at home" sunghoon said to jake, sitting next to jay on the big sofa. he had a drink in his hand, jay wasn't able to say what it exactly was. he wasn't a big fan of drinking. he only drank his mum's soju once with eunseong and that day he said that he won't drink alcohol ever again because of how discusting it was.
"i wanted to celebrate with yeonjun hyung" jake said. if he could he would lay on the ground and not move. he even asked other people to give him a drink and he was carried on sunghoon's back to yeonjun's house. that's how much his legs hurt "and hyung doesn't do a lot of parties, that's probably the only occasion in two years."
sunghoon looked at jay, who was listening to them quietly the whole time "don't you want anything to drink?" he asked.
jay smiled and skook his head "no, i don't drink."
"alright then" sunghoon returned the smile and took a sip of his drink "where are the others? heeseung and yeonjun hyung?"
"they're there" jake pointed at the window. heeseung and yeonjun were having fun with other people at the pool, jumping in with their clothes on. jay wanted to try, but he was scared of meeting new people "what about sunoo? is he not coming?"
"yeonjun hyung told him he's too young to come" sunghoon laughed very loudly "he begged like crazy, but still wasn't allowed."
"what a hypocrite!" jake said jokingly "he didn't allow sunoo to come but invited nakamura kazuha?"
jay felt lost. they knew so many people while he didn't know anyone. they must go to a lot of parties.
"he invited her because she's in the ballet team of their dance studio" sunghoon rolled his eyes at jake's lack of information "and she came with sakura, you know she's an adult?"
"sunoo could go with you. you're almost an adult too!" jake said confidently. if his legs didn't hurt he would jump out of his seat.
"what am i? his babysitter?" jake and jay both laughed at sunghoon. jay didn't notice it before, but he was quite funny in his own way which was hard to understand to other people. his sense of humour was only for cool people.
after some time, yeonjun and heeseung were done with jumping into the pool and yeonjun decided to join jake, sunghoon and jay in the living room.
"are you having fun?" yeonjun said, standing in front of them. some other people were with him, but jay obviously didn't know them.
they all nodded their heads at yeonjun's words "i didn't expect to feel so comfortable in your house, hyung" jake said "should i move in?"
"you still go to school though? isn't my house too far from hybe high?" yeonjun joked, making fun of jake's age. a tall guy who was standing next to yeonjun laughed too. jake just pouted and took a sip of his drink "oh right, jay!" jay looked at yeonjun confused when he suddenly said his name "this is soobin" yeonjun said, looking at the tall guy next to him "my boyfriend."
