imagine if i finished this whole fanfic tonight-
Katherine had kept Jimmy inside for a bit to make sure he actually didn't remember who Scott was, and it was sad to realize he truly didn't. "Katherine, is this Scott guy important? You keep bringing him up," "Oh no, he's not, but maybe you should familiarize yourself with him, he is a pretty powerful ruler," "Oh, alright," the blonde smiled. There was a knock on the door. Lizzie came on, Jimmy smiled. "Lizzie!" "Hey, jimmy," she smiled. She turned to Katherine, whispering, "Does he remember him?" "No sadly," "Ah, that's gonna break his heart," "I know," Katherine shook her head. "jimmy, you're gonna wanna be careful not to move too much for a bit," "I know, I'm just happy that it's over." Jimmy threw on his shirt and over shirt before leaving with his Cod Father head. Scott's eyes widened when he saw Jimmy leave. "Jimmy!" he called. "Can I help you?" "How was the surgery?" "It was great, who are you?" Scott's heart sunk, this was all his fault. He sighed, "I'm Scott, King of Rivendell," his voice went cold, unemotional, it confused Jimmy, but it wasn't important. "Well, I'm Jimmy, Cod Father of the Swamp, pleasure to meet you." Scott nodded, there was no use being kind with jimmy if he didn't remember him. "Well, perhaps I'll see you around, elf man, I've gotta get home." Jimmy then flew off. Katherine came out, Scott turned to her, his eyes were full of hurt. "I'm sorry, Scott, I tried to jog his memory, i really did." "I understand, Katherine, I just feel terrible. I made him do that," Katherine had never seen Scott so close to tears. "Scott, I promise I'll do whatever it takes to get him to remember you, but you need to try as well," the elf nodded. "I think I'll go home, I need a moment." "Okay, well, we have a meeting tomorrow to discuss Jimmy's situation with everybody else, they've been worried." "Alright," Scott turned away from Katherine and flew home.
In his room, Callon was sat on the bed. "Where have you been all night?" "What do you mean?" "Last night you left because of something and you never came back," "oh, right, just had to do something." "What exactly where you doing?" "Does it matter? I'm here now, Callon," "I want to make sure you weren't cheating on me," "Oh for god's sake, Callon, I wasn't cheating on you, I wanted to make sire my friend was okay." "That fish boy? why is he so important?" "Why is he important? Are you serious, Callon? He has a kingdom to run, if he dies that puts his people in danger!" Scott needed to calm down, he was way to angry and sad to argue with his boyfriend, but here he was. "Are you really caring about someone other than me?" "Are you fucking kidding me?" "Does it look like I'm fucking kidding?" "Why do I care about another ruler? Is that even a question?" "It is a question, so answer it." Scott and Callon had been through this before, callon would try to guilt trip Scott into not doing his duties as a ruler and spend time with him, but Scott wasn't having it this time. "I care because he's my friend, because his empire will fall if he dies, his people will starve and die, his sister would be devastated, that's why I fucking care, Callon!" "So I'm not important?" "Are you really pulling that card?" "What card, Scott? I'm asking a genuine question!" ""So I'm not important" you pull that excuse any time I have important work to do to make me feel bad and stop what I'm doing to make you feel loved when I make you feel loved everyday." "Do you make me feel loved everyday?" "Are you really putting me through this right now? After my best friend just forgot about me entirely?" "And you're crying about this?" Scott hadn't even realized he'd been crying. "Of course I'm crying, he's my best friend!" "A friend who doesn't know you anymore, so it doesn't matter." "It does matter because we've been friends forever, I loved him!"
Then there was silence, Scott stared at Callon, who stared right back at him. "Excuse me?" "Callon, I didn't mean it." "You didn't mean it? You can't say you love someone and not mean it, Scott." "Callon, I said loved, that was a long time ago." was that a lie? Did Scott still love Jimmy? "Love is love, Scott, how do I know you haven't been cheating?" "Get the fuck out." Scott ordered. "Excuse me?" "I'm not dealing with this anymore, we're done, get the fuck out." "Good luck getting him to love you again," "I said get the fuck out!" Scott suddenly felt colder, he saw Callon run out of his room. He looked around, horror took over his face; a human sized ice spike in the ground right where Callon had been. Scott backed up into his bed, staring at his hands, more frost. "Oh fuck.." Scott gasped. "this is not good," how the hell was he supposed to get that out of his room? Why had he done that? Something about Jimmy. Jimmy.. Scott missed him, he didn't know who he was anymore and that hurt Scott. He said he'd loved jimmy, but now he was pretty sure he still loved Jimmy, but that wasn't going to work since Jimmy didn't know who he was. Scott held his head in his hands, he didn't know what to do. The ice had gotten worse, he'd just broken up with his boyfriend, his best friend didn't know who he was anymore, and Scott didn't even know how he felt anymore, his life was just falling apart, and it felt like it was all his fault. More tears spilled over, he started coughing.
Then, onto the floor fell a singular red petal.*inserts shaky breaths* totally happy ending.. totally.. hehe.. :'D
