Angela and the kids came back with a stuffed squirrel for Tim and a stuffed kangaroo for Lucy. She held onto the stuffed animals like she held onto Tim when Jackson died.

Lucy saw Tims doctor and stood up ready to demand answers. Lucy had on skinny jeans and Tims sweatshirt but she still had her uniform from when she first arrived at the hospital. Harper had taken her belt back to the station so no one could steal it but she still had her badge. She grabbed it and walked up to the doctor.

"Doctor I need to talk to you now!" Lucy demanded.

"I'm on my break Miss..?" The Doctor replies.

"Chen. But I don't care! I need to know if the father to my children is dead or not!" Lucy cried. The doctor looked around and took Lucy by the arm and walked her to an empty room.

"Miss Chen.. I need you to calm down before you cause a scene. I am not available to give information about my patient at this time to anyone but law enforcement!" The doctor scolded.

"This Law Enforcement enough?" Lucy asked holding up her badge. "Because me as an officer was sent to find out how my Sergeant is doing medical wise."

"I'm sorry I didn't realize you were cops. Mr Bradford is in a coma from smoke inhalation and has 3 broken ribs and major blood loss." The doctor informed. Lucy started crying again.

"But he's alive?" Lucy asked through tears.

"For now, barely." The doctor told her as he went to go check on other patients. Lucy stayed for a moment to cry with herself. She finally walked out to inform Angela.

"He is in a coma. Smoke inhalation, 3 broken ribs, and major blood loss. The doctor said he is alive but barely." Lucy said while trying to hold back tears but couldn't. Angela stood up and hugged Lucy.

"He's going to pull through. I know it!" Angela said trying not to cry. Lucy is scared enough as it is.

"Lucy why don't you go home and get some sleep?" Grey said appearing through the doors. "That's an order not a suggestion!"

"Well I'm sorry Sergeant Grey but I'm not going to follow your order. Not until Tim is coming home with me." Lucy said still crying.

"Chen you have to be willing to accept the fact that he might not be coming home." Grey said sadly. Lucy dropped to the ground sobbing, having yet another panic attack. Lucy was then taken to a hospital room to recover from dehydration and multiple panic attacks. Angela took the twins to her house for the night.

Lucy cried all night thinking about what Grey had said, "He might not be coming home." On replay all night. Not an ounce of sleep. Lucy left her hospital room since she wasn't considered an actual patient but still got a room to herself for the time being. She made her way to the ICU doors, clutching the stuffed squirrel.

"Miss Chen you should be resting." The doctor said softly coming up behind her.

"How can I possibly sleep knowing my fiancé might die, my kids might be left without a father." Lucy cried.

"I'm not supposed to do this, but since you were sent to check on your sergeant I guess I can let you see him for about 10 minutes officer Chen." The doctor winked.

"Really?" Lucy asked in tears. The doctor nodded and lead her toward his room.

"He's in here." The doctor said pointing to a room. "I will be back in 10 minutes." He said and walked away. Lucy opened to door and saw her fiancé laying there almost lifeless. She sat down on the chair next to his bed and grabbed his hand avoiding the wires and tubes as best she could.

"Hi baby. It's me. Please wake up I need you! Please don't leave me. Please Tim. Fight for me. Fight for your kids. I'll be right by your side every step of recovery. But first I need you to wake up Tim. Please baby." Lucy pleaded through tears. She held his hand tight and put her head down on the rail to let out some tears.

"Please baby wake up." She pleaded one more time. A sound from the heart beat monitor forced Lucy to look up. Doctors rushed in as Lucy was pushed out of the room.
