I washed myself then dried myself putting the towel around my waist walking to the closet.
I wear my black sleeved button up shirt with my balck jeans and black shoes with my Starbucks apron that has my name tag. (Pretend it says Tydus)
I go to my nightstand grabbing my phone and then I see kehlani open her eyes, no please don't wake up.
"What are you doing?" She asks sleepily and I tell her "I have work baby, go back to sleep, bye I love you" I say to her and lean down to kiss her, "okay bye I love you too" She says and kisses me once more and then I pull away.
She falls back asleep and I walk out of my room knocking on my parents door.
Ariana opens in an oversized shirt with black shorty shorts, "what are you- oh work right forgot" She says and I laugh "I was just saying going to say bye" she smiles "okay bye tyty love you" She says as she hugs me, I hug her back and say "bye love you too" I pull away from the hug and go downstairs.
I grab my car keys and I make sure to lock the door.
I drive to work and I go inside everyone's head turning my way.
"Tydus goodmorning!!" The manager says and I give him a warm smile "goodmorning" The Starbucks opened now and it was now 8 am and we were packed.
There was a lot of customers, "Hi, what would you like to order?" I ask the woman in front of me and she says "may I please have a caramel iced coffee?" She asks and I say "of course, anything else?" She looks at the girl at her right "Kylie you want anything?" My smile fades what the fuck?
I haven't even taken in her presence I didn't notice she was there.
"I would like an egg wrap please" She says and I ask her "with the bacon and sausage?" She nods "yes please" I nod and ask for the woman's name for I can put it on the cup, "Aurora" She says and then I say "that will be 7 dollars and 25 cents" She gives me her credit card it said approved and then I gave it back to her.
I go to make the stuff, I get the egg wrap and slide it into a bag closing it securely and putting it into a Starbucks bag.
I then make the iced coffee, and I write 'Aurora' I go to the table where customers pick up their stuff and I say "order for Aurora" they come and Kylie grabs her wrap from my hand gently while aurora grabs her coffee, "thank you" they say and then go sit down.
It is now 4 pm and it is the end of my shift, fuck that was long.
I take off my apron and put it in the passenger seat of my car.
I drive home and I pull into the driveway.
I turn off the engine and I grab the apron and unlock the door to the house going inside, I lock it and I go into the living room seeing everyone there watching a movie.
I smile as I see kehlani with aaliyah but kehlani's eyes are red and puffy my question is: Why?
They don't know I'm here yet so I say "hey" they turn my way and my mom asks "how was work?" I said "tiring but I'll live, kehlani can I talk to you for a second?" I say to her because I want to know why she is crying.
She attempts to get up but aaliyah pulls her down "tyty I want kehlani here" I sigh "it's just for a second sis" She gives up and let's kehlani go, I go to grab her hand and my dad pauses the movie, we go to the kitchen where they can't hear us even though the movie is paused.
I look at her and she is not making eye contact with me, "Baby why are you crying? Why are you so sad? Talk to me please" I ask her begging her to talk to me.
"Uhh" She says and plays with her promise ring, she makes eye contact with me and I pull her into a hug, "don't cry baby, just tell me" I say softly.
She pulls away from the hug and says "I am how do I say this to you? I am-" She stops when Ariana walks into the kitchen, "you okay keh?" She asks her and she says "mhm" whatever this is about my mom knows.
Ariana walks out of the kitchen and she says "I am pregnant" my eyes widen and I feel my mouth go dry.
I am not ready for a baby, I didn't even know what aaliyah wanted yesterday.
"I'm sorry I know this was not your plan I kn-" I cut her off, "it's okay, I want a family with you, but I am just not ready and I get it if you are not either and I support you in any decision you make but I am still going to be with you, baby I know for a fact I'm going to marry you" I say to her and she smiles.
We kiss and she pulls away but our lips are still touching, "I want to keep the baby" She says against my lips and I smile, "then that is what we will do" I say happily.
We go back to the living room and kehlani sits down next to aaliyah again as aaliyah cuddles into her, I sit behind kehlani and wrap my arms around her waist as I put a blanket over the three of us.
"So what is going to happen?" Ariana asked and kehlani says "we are keeping it" Ariana shoots up from the couch making my dad fall where she was sitting because he was leaning on her.
"That's great" my mom says and my dad agrees.
