Wedding plans with Steve and Loki

                                    

                                          
By the time you had gotten back to the compound, you were thoroughly exhausted.  Loki and Steve helped you bring in your bags, and put away your fruit for you while you sat down for a moment.  Steve insisted on bringing Daisy outside for a few minutes, while Loki offered to go get you some tea.  You checked your phone and didn't see any missed texts from Bucky, but sent him a message to check in on him.  He responded quickly that he was fine, and was just catching up with your dad.  You smiled softly at your phone, and kicked off your shoes and looked at your swollen ankles and grimaced.  You rubbed your belly and gave another sigh.  
"You should have your feet up above the heart level to bring down the swelling" Loki came back into the room.  You looked at him and gave a grateful smile as he handed you your tea, and he fluffed some cushions for you while you put your feet up.  "Now, what shall we start with?" he grabbed the stack of magazines and sat down beside you, handing you a few.  "Just let me know which pages we are marking for later" he added.  
"Can't we just take a nap?" you asked, pouting slightly.  
"You have a wedding to plan" he reminded you quickly.  "We still haven't found quite the right dress yet.  So we need to start looking" 
You pulled open one of the bridal magazines and started flipping through it.  Steve came back in and sat down and started going through the magazines looking more for things for Bucky's side of the wedding.  You couldn't focus and kept looking at your phone to check for messages from Bucky.  You finally opened up Amazon and distractedly looked at some baby things and tried to hide it from Loki.  He finally looked over your shoulder and let out a small coo.  
"Oh you need to go with the unicorns, and the bears since there's two cribs" he spoke softly, trying not to catch you off guard.  
"We don't even know if they are girls or boys or both" you flushed a little bit.  
"Gender doesn't matter" Loki shrugged.  "Anyone can enjoy unicorns and teddy bears" 
"You're right" you gave a small smile and put them in the cart.  
"You should get matching bedding as well." he goaded you on.  You giggled and started looking at bedding.  "Maybe a few other things, but after I insist we need to work on these wedding plans" 
"I'm just so worried about the wedding photos" you admitted softly.  
"You'll look exquisite, not to worry" Loki promised.  "We can have the wedding as early as next week" he decided.  
"Not without talking to Bucky first" you shook your head.  
"I doubt he would be against it" Steve gave a smile.  "Can I see the baby stuff too?" he raised an eyebrow.  
"Sure" you passed him your phone and he gave a broad smile looking at your cart and the items you were looking at before.  
"Bucky's going to love all this" Steve grinned happily.  "I love the little bears, they are so cute" 
"How about this dress?" Loki pulled out his magazine to show you, trying to direct you back to the task of planning the wedding.  He showed you a white lace, and satin wedding dress with an empire waist and a sweetheart neckline.  The sleeves were made of lace, and went to your elbows.  "We can add a long train to it, to follow you as you walk down the aisle".  Loki gestured for you to stand up.  You looked at him curiously and stood up.  "More to the center of the room, Darling" he instructed.  You nodded and stood in the center of the room and shrugged.  
"What am I doing?" you asked.  
"We need to see if it will suit you" Loki flicked his fingers at you and you suddenly found yourself in the dress.  You gasped looking down, and saw there was a long satin and lace trail that appeared behind you and you saw that your stomach isn't showing as badly as you had thought it would.  
"This is perfect" you sighed happily, rubbing your belly.  
"Steven, please take a few pictures so we can show them to the seamstress" Loki gave a small smile.  "Do make sure that the Sargent doesn't see them" he added for good measure knowing Bucky would try to snoop around.  "How about powder blue lace?" Loki flexed his fingers and you looked down surprised.  
"I love it" you cooed looking at the train as well.  It suited your powers.  You flexed your arms a little bit, then rubbed your stomach again.  "Do you think Bucky will like it?" you looked at Steve with a smile.  
"He's going to love it" Steve took a few more pictures, going around you making sure to get all the details.  "With your jewelry, it will really stand out" he promised.  "Good eye, Loki" he complimented him easily.  
"Well, now we have the dress" you sighed, rubbing your stomach again and Loki flicked his fingers and you were back in your normal clothes.  "Now we just need the bridesmaids dresses"  you walked back to sit beside Loki.  
"What are we looking for?" Loki asked as Steve went back and took a seat again. 
"Dark Blue, something that looks a bit old fashioned but still modern" you started looking through the magazines again.  You found a dress that was a three quarter length, that looked layered and made of satin.  The neckline was a v neck, and clung to all the right places on the models.  "Like this" you showed it to Loki.  
"The girls would look lovely in this" he nodded happily.  "Have you asked any of them yet?" 
"No, I wanted to talk to Bucky about it first" you bit your bottom lip unsurely.  
"Allow me to get you some cupcakes" Loki decided.  You smiled softly at him, and watched as he went to get them for you.  He picked the ones your father had made and you hummed happily as you ate one.  You offered Loki and Steve one each as well, and they gave a smile and ate them slowly.  
"You and Buck have a lot to talk about, huh?" Steve asked after a few minutes.  
"Just about the wedding" you nodded.  "We agree on most things when we talk about it, I just like making sure that I run things past him" you decided to admit.  
You eventually fell asleep on Loki while you were looking through the magazines.  Steve went into the bedroom and grabbed you a blanket, while Loki tried his best not to move.  
"The smallest things make her tired" Steve mused.  
"She's growing two full sized babies, even you would be tired" Loki flipped through the magazine.  "The spell for the morning sickness also makes her tired, regretfully" he added softly.  
"It must have been pretty bad if Bucky was willing to ask you to put the spell on her" Steve gave a soft smile.  
"It was, she was suffering" Loki nodded and looked to the suite door as Bucky came walking in with a huge grin on his face.  "Good afternoon Sargent, I trust you had a good day so far" 
"How long have you guys been back?" Bucky's voice went hushed as he realized you were asleep.  
"A good few hours.  We found a dress, and the bridesmaid dresses.  She decided on blue roses" Loki filled him in.  
"I hoped she would" Bucky grinned and came over.  Loki stood up and Bucky took his spot quickly so you wouldn't wake up.  Bucky leaned over and kissed you on top of the head, pausing for a moment, thinking happily of his day spent with your father.  
"These are the suits I thought you would like, jerk" Steve handed him a bunch of magazines and gave a smirk.  
"I thought I was supposed to be the one looking for these" Bucky chuckled softly.  
"Just trying to help.  She's anxious about the wedding" Steve gave a soft smile.  
"Which we can do as early as next week.  With this modern technology we can send the invitations by email, and keep the event quiet.  I'll take care of the garden, and make sure its exquisite outside.  It's still warm enough out, we wouldn't have to worry" Loki added, taking a seat on the love seat.  
"Did she get her fruits and everything?" Bucky asked worriedly as he looked at you. 
"Fruits, candy and lots of food" Steve smiled.  "She also picked dark blue for the bridesmaids dresses" 
"I knew she would" Bucky gave you another chaste kiss on top of the head.  "I'm thinking black suits, white shirts, and dark blue ties, except for Steve.  He gets light blue" 
"Why light blue?" Steve asked, a little surprised. 
"You're my best man, punk" Bucky shrugged and went back to the magazines.  "These are good" he showed a page to Loki, who put an emerald marker on the page.  
"Loki and bird brain get the dark blue" he added with a flush on his cheeks.  
"Is that your way of asking?" Loki raised an eyebrow elegantly. 
"It's my way of telling" Bucky gave him his winning smile and Loki nodded. 
"I'd be honored" he decided softly.  
"Good, I'm glad that's settled" Bucky nodded.  He looked at you surprised when you moved slightly in your sleep and nuzzled into him more.  Alpine came in and gave a soft mew before kneading on your stomach for a few moments and then he laid across your stomach emitting a loud purr.  You sighed in your sleep, and nuzzled in again.  "Always such a cuddler" Bucky chuckled softly.  
"I didn't take her for much of one when we first met her" Steve flipped open another magazine.  
"It didn't take long to figure out that she liked them" Bucky smirked.  "It helps keep her calm, especially when she has her nightmares" 
"She hasn't had one in a while" Steve looked at him.  "Unless she did on the mission" 
"She has them once in a while, a few times while we were on the mission.  She doesn't jump out of bed anymore, she reaches out for me and pulls me in closer and asks me to hold her tighter" Bucky gave a proud smile.  "Same for me, I have them and it will startle her awake.  She just pulls me in tighter and nuzzles in.  Makes it easier to fall back to sleep, and forget why I was so upset a few moments ago"
"That's true love" Loki gave an approving look.  "It's rare to find in all the nine realms, but you are lucky enough to have found it in each other" 
"I know I'm a lucky man" Bucky agreed quickly.  "Luckiest man alive" he added softly.  "Did she get more strawberries?" 
"She did, you don't have to run to the grocery store for a while" Steve nodded.  "Unless she goes through them too quickly.  She also got some peaches, and some plums" 
"She does like to take care of me" he chuckled in response.  He looked at his phone and was surprised to see it was almost supper time.  "I might have to wake her up soon" he sighed softly.  
"Oh, she was also shopping for the babies earlier" Loki remembered.  "She picked out some unicorns and teddy bears to start" 
"That sounds perfect" Bucky didn't even question it.  "I'll have to ask her to see it after" he decided.  You moved in your sleep again, and slowly opened your eyes and saw Bucky.  Your face broke out into the happiest smile.  "Hey beautiful" Bucky spoke softly.  
"Hey handsome" you whispered, and nuzzled into him again for a moment before he leaned down and claimed your lips.  
"We have to head for supper soon, but want to look at some baby stuff after, maybe talk about the wedding some more?" Bucky asked you hopefully.  
"Blue roses, I wanted blue roses" you bit your bottom lip looking at him.  
"That sounds perfect, my beautiful bride" he gave you another chaste kiss on the lips.
