Chapter 17

                                    

                                          
Taehyung pov
"jisoo I need to speak to you." i said.
"Taehyung not now I need to sleep."
She said and stood up from the couch, but I grabbed her arm and made her sit back down.
"Taehyung what are you doing?" she asked. "jisoo I said I need to speak to you" I told her.
"what happened?" she asked.
"jisoo why are you acting this way?
Can you be the old jisoo you were once? You're not the jisoo I love. Did I do anything wrong? Please speak to me." I nearly shouted
I noticed that Jisoo's eyes were startin to tear up.
"Taehyung" she said.
"what's wrong jisoo?" I asked.
"I thought you were falling out of love" she said leaving me shocked.
"why jisoo? I love you so much" I said.
"you started coming home late from work and didn't even have dinner with me and sometimes you'd leave early in the morning. You were also acting really cold. You didn't kiss or hug me anymore. You didn't even pick my calls up. I was so scared of losing you.
So I started acting different to see if it'd affect you, to see if you'd care. "she said.
"I'm so sorry jisoo. It was all my fault. 
I didn't realise I was so focused on work that I forgot to spend time with you. But I never stopped loving you. I still love you and always will." I said and gave her a tight hug. "I love you too taehyung." she said hugging me back. "I'm sorry for shouting at you the other day. You just wanted to spend time with me but I was so exhausted because of work. I'm sorry." I said. "it's okay taehyung I should've thought that you must be tired after working overtime for a week." she said. 
I'm so grateful to have her. I break the hug and look into her eyes. 
"promise me you'll never act this way again." she said. "I promise. And you also promise me you'll always speak to me if anything bothers you." i said. "I promise" she said.
"jisoo you should sleep now, you have to do your presentation tomorrow." I said. "I know taehyung but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it. I'm so nervous." she said. "I'm sure you'll do great jisoo you've been working so hard on the presentation" I said. "hopefully" she said. 
We then went to bed together it felt great to cuddle with each other after such a long time. 
I give her a small peck on her forehead before falling asleep. 
Jisoo pov
I woke up earlier than I usually do today. I didn't want to get late for my presentation. I quickly showered, got changed and put on some make up. 
I have to look presentable.

"Taehyung wake up you have to go to work." I said. "wow my wife is looking super beautiful today." he said and smiled making me blush. "Taehyung stop you're gonna get late." I said. 
"okay but where's my morning kiss?" he said. I kiss him quickly. 
I'm so glad the misunderstanding between us is over and we are again like how we used to be. 
"I left your cloths here, get changed and come down to have breakfast." I said and went downstairs. 
"oh jennie's calling" I said excitedly and answered the call. 
On call
"hello jenniee!" I said. "woah what happened? why are you so happy today?" she asked. "jennie the misunderstanding between me and taehyung is solved now. He was just busy because of work. I'm the one who was over thinking" I said. "that's great unnie I'm glad you are happy again." she said. "thank you jennie for helping me." I said. "it's okay I'll always be there for you." she said. 
We talked for a bit hung up. 
"Taehyung your breakfast is ready." I said. "I'm here." he said. 
"and all the best for your presentation I'm sure you'll do great." he said. 
"thank you taehyung." 
We both left for work together. 
It was time for my presentation. 
I entered the meeting room and presented my presentation in front of the staff of Park Enterprise. 
After I was done Mr min called me to his cabin. 
"Yes sir." I said. "jisoo have a seat." he said and I did as he told. "you did great today. I expected this from you. I'm really impressed with your work so I decided to give you a promotion. You are now the Head of your department you are working in." he said at first I couldn't belive what he was saying. 
"thank you so much sir" I said. 
"I can see how hard you've worked congratulations." he said. 
"keep up the good work" he said. 
"Yes sir I will try my best" I said. 
This was chapter 17. I can't believe I'm already on chapter 17 anyways sorry if there are any mistakes.
