After five incredible years Zayn Malik has decided to leave One
Direction. Niall, Harry, Liam and Louis will continue as a four-piece and look forward to the forthcoming concerts of their world tour and
recording their fifth album, due to be released later this year.
Zayn says: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."
One Direction say: "We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally
respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."
One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is a single man.
Just days after news broke that 1D's Zayn Malik has left the group's current tour a representative for the band confirms to Billboard that Tomlinson and his longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder have split.
"Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago," the rep tells Billboard. "They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time."
A friend of Tomlinson says the 23-year-old singer is struggling with the breakup. "They tried really hard to make it work but it was just impossible, he's away for nine months a year and they just grew apart," his friend told People.

Apparently, Perrie is still pretty upset about Zayn's alleged cheating incident in Thailand in March and she blames the boys! "She's furious with them because she believes they were a bad influence on Zayn," a friend spilled to Life & Style.
"She feels humiliated by what happened and she is just looking for someone to blame," the friend continued.

Yup - Leigh-Anne, Jade, Jesy and Perrie have already said they're putting the 'finishing touches' to album , and now they've done a fancy hangout sesh to let us all know it's 'nearly ready.'
Chatting about the album, Jade said: "I think we just wanted to do something different. I think that's why it's [taken] so long as well. We wanted to make a sound that was still us, but was changing a bit." Leigh-Anne added: ""It's all about progression, isn't it? We just hope you guys love it as much as us."
As well as all that malarky the girls also discussed the album's sound, told us the single's going to radio soon.

Zayn leaving one direction, Elounor split up, Perrie apparently banning the boys from going to their best mate's wedding. Nothing is going in the right the direction so far besides Little Mix who has there upcoming album release. It's up to the four boys to keep One Direction alive even when everything is falling apart. Little Mix don't know as much of what's going on with band, but as soon as they hear about One Direction falling out on the face of the earth they are there to help them get back up. But what if everything isn't as it seems and what if everything is unlike what they expected? The boys have secrets of their own which they can't share and if so there will be terrible things amoug them as well as Little Mix.
