The next days I went to the police again and filled a report about the incident but I knew it had to do with Jackson 
I was still hopeful about him getting arrested but we needed to do something quickly or otherwise who knows how far he would go 
The guys were always careful with me and I was doing better from my past injuries so I everything was okay 
"Hey Soph" Luke said as he entered the kitchen where I was doing some work on my laptop 
"Hey Lukey how was work?" I asked him as he sat down beside me 
"It was good you know I had some surgeries but nothing too major" he said 
"That's nice. Have you eaten?" I asked him since I was starving and last time I ate was this morning and it was 10pm
"I could eat , why are you going to cook for me Sophie?" He said as he smirked 
"Yeah you wish, I was thinking we could to McDonald's" I said to him as I stopped working and looked at him 
"Bummer I thought you were going to cook for your fave man" he said teasing me again as I rolled my eyes at him 
"Uh-uh not going to happen McDonald's or nothing it's your choice fave man" I said back to him teasing him 
"Okay fine let's go" he said as he stood up and grabbed his keys from the counter where he left them when he walked in 
"Yay thanks" I said as I ran behind him 
The whole ride we talked about our day and we laughed while having karaoke 
To be honest when I have first met Luke I had a huge crush on him but he was in a relationship then and there was no way I would ever flirt with a man that it's in a relationship , so I ignored my feelings and just became friends with him 
When he got out of his relationship we started flirting a bit more but we never did anything expect from one kiss one night where we were both drunk 
But we never talked about it and we just forgot it 
Or I pretended that I have forgotten it 
Anyways the last one year my feelings for Luke have grown more and I really like him more than a friend but I know he sees me as his little sister so I would never make a move 
"Okay say it" he said pulling me out of my thoughts 
"What?" I asked panicked because there is no way he can read my mind 
"That I am the best" he said obviously 
"You are the best and you know it I don't have to tell you" I said back as I ate the last of my fries 
"Yes but I like hearing it from you" he said as he started putting away our trash 
"You are Luke, I appreciate you more than you will ever understand honestly I don't know what I would have done without you"I said truthfully to him 
"Honestly Soph I think you will forever be my number one, without you I wouldn't be the man I am today" he said looking at me 
For a while we just stared at each other eyes smiling like idiots but it felt like something more 
Maybe it was in my mind I don't know 
But then I felt it 
I felt his hand on my neck first and his lips next 
He was kissing me 
I froze completely for 3 seconds but then I kissed him back like my life depended on it 
We kissed for what felt like an eternity and finally we pulled away looking at each other eyes 
"Umm what just happened?" I asked 
"I kissed you" he said back smiling at me 
"Yes I think I got that.. but why" I asked him again 
"Because Soph I haven't stopped thinking about you and that kiss for the last 6 years and I couldn't wait anymore" he said startling me 
"Wha-" he kissed me again and then pulled away slowly 
"I know you thought about it too and I know it's scary because we've always been in the friend zone but Sophie I can't continue being your friend , not when I want to kiss you every time I look at you" he said looking at me making me feel butterflies everywhere 
"Okay" I said smiling because honestly I was at a loss of words 
"Okay" he said back kissing me again 
He then returned to his seat because he was leaning to me all the time, and he started the car 
"Let's go home baby" he said looking at me with a smirk 
I smiled back at him 
He kissed me 
Luke wants me 
And I'm the happiest girl alive 
Soooooo this happened 👀
To be honest when I started the story I didn't want any romance but as I kept writing I felt like Luke and Sophie had a really nice chemistry and I tried dropping some hints that there was something more between them!
