Chapter 29: Improvise

                                    

                                          
Our unlikely duo gauge their opponents. His control over his Ki is incredible, however, it was a surprise that he had so much in reserve, since before he showed no sign of having any at all. 
Impressed, yet disappointed, Frieza expressed it loudly, "They say you can destroy the universe, so I came here to spar with you. If that's all you have to offer, then I am not impressed, you are no threat to the universe."
Brainiac smirk, "This universe seems to focus only on raw power. No wonder I was capable of wiping out a good lot, there is no need for technological advances, just brute force."
"Please," Frieza snare, folding his arms together "Your excuse is weak. Just admit you don't have the power to do any harm to the universe, again, if this is your all you have no way of defeating me."
Yamcha grew a little worried, not too long ago no Ki, now it does and it is dense, "Hey Frieza, I don't think we should provoke him, besides we have to go  to take him out quickly."
"We? There is no WE in this. You deal with him by yourself. He is no threat to the universe."
"Is that so?" Brainiac folded his arms, then scanned the two fighters, Frieza did have the most amount of Ki between the two, however, it, seemed that Yamcha's control was like that of Gohan's. "I don't understand Frieza, you would only acknowledge me if I can destroy your universe? But if I do have the power to do so, why would I unleash it slowly? Why not wipe it the moment I show up?"
"You don't have the power, so stop trying to bluff."
"Frieza!"
"It's Lord Frieza for your worm. And again this creature is no threat to the universe."
Brainiac's voice boomed "Then leave if I don't interest you." 
"No, I want to get rid of you. Yes, you are no threat to the universe, however, you are a problem for my empire, and I can't have you running around making my life hell." Frieza begins powering up, his aura kicking up the debris just like Brainiac. "You are not worth seeing my full power, now that I am aware of your potential."
"That's fine by me. If you want to treat this like a game, then I will play. Be it you win this fight or not, my victory is certain."
The droid flickered, Frieza followed, and the two clashed in the centre, the force alone causing damage. Frieza punched, the droid in its face, but it didn't flinch. It returned with a blade to Frieza's torso, in a wink, his body was nothing but tiny bits, splattering the ground and wall. Some even landed on Yamcha, who was shocked to witness the mess and the speed at that Frieza was dispatched.
Brainiac landed, soaked in blood and grinning, "As you can see, your friend was foolish to think that you need only strength to win. I have memories of those that witness the fight between him and a time traveller." He scanned the man, his heart racing, his body releasing sweat like that of a fire hydrant.  "You witnessed all of that? Impressive, the speed I executed was extremely fast."
Yamcha grit his teeth, "You are not going to do that with me!"
"You are right, I wouldn't have to put that much effort." Brainiac leaned forward and then bolted for Yamcha. The bladed hand dragging along the ground, easily gliding along.
He swing, sending air that slashed against the wall behind him, however, he was surprised that there was no red. Yamcha wasn't in his line of sight, he quickly turned to see a spirit ball connecting with his head, knocking him back a few inches.
The droid scoffed, and charged the man again, two swift swipes. Yamcha moves with the grace of a swan, twisting his body to avoid the attacks. In a small, brief window, in the narrow tick of a nanosecond, Yamcha performed his attack, "WOLF FANG BREAKER!"
