Part Twenty One- My Whole World
It was the morning of Christmas Eve when Copia had finally returned to the Ministry with Secondo- though due to jet lag, bed was the first place they crashed after the applause on arrival and conversing with several members of the clergy. When Lucie was reunited with her best friend it felt as though the missing piece to the jigsaw of her life was fitted. This was her family now.

"Lucie! How wonderful to see you my dear. Oh how I missed your hugs." He says whilst being squished in Lucie's arms. "I have too much to tell you, but I must save it for another time for I'm afraid I can barely keep my eyes open."

The day consisted of the whole clergy chipping in to make final adjustments for the big day. Lucie's job was to hang up the decorations in the play-pen that the baby ghouls had been hand crafting and colouring over the last few days. Sister thought it would be a good idea to let infants be infants and create a play area in the corner of the ball room to give the parents of the little ones the chance to catch a break.

She heard footsteps echoing in the large hall behind her back, turning around to see Terzo walking towards her with his hands behind his back.

"Hey." Lucie softly smiled before turning back around, reaching up to the line she was pegging the laminated, paper baubles onto. He was stood to the side of her behind her, close enough that she could feel his breath on her neck.

"Good morning sorella. How about a little help?" He took the decoration from her grasp and used a peg to secure it in place in the higher part that Lucie couldn't reach. Lucie smiled and nodded to thank him for his help. He continued helping her, putting them up in a comfortable silence until the job was finished in half the time.

"Thank you Terzo, I'd have been here all day otherwise." She grinned.

"That's ok tesoro." He gaze was diverted as he looked around at the vibrant colours of soft matting and many toys and plushies, making him chuckle a little.

"It's cute, right?" Lucie smiled whilst looking up at him eyeing the area.

"I cannot wait to have our own little ones running about the ministry one day." He says under his breath softly smiling.

"What was that Terzo?" Lucie says.

"Nothing." He replies, but Lucie heard exactly what he said. He suddenly perked up, jolting as if itching to show her something. "Anyway, I have something to show you, come."

Terzo linked her arm into his and led her back to his room where he had laid out a box on his bed.

"What is this?" Lucie says suspiciously.

"I thought an early present wouldn't hurt, no?" He grinned.

"Terzo...you know, about that I've had trouble finding you a gift that I think-." She is interrupted by Terzo holding up his finger to her lips.

"Ah, ah, ah." He hushed her, keeping his finger pressed against her soft lips. "You're the greatest gift I could ever ask for, I don't need no materialistic confirmation of that, si? As long as I'm waking up by your side tomorrow morning I'm content. Now open your gift stupido." Lucie giggled and shakes her head at his insult and approaches the box upon his bed.

She lifts the lid to find a gift wrapped in thick, golden tissue paper. Tearing the paper revealed something familiar. He'd bought her a matching pair of his purple silk pyjamas but instead of a 'T' being embroidered into the top pocket there was an 'L'.

"Terzo, they're beautiful."

"Real silk, feel! Now we can be matching, si?!" He grins widely at her reaction to his present. She pulls a face of adoration before pulling him into a kiss. "Oh, and one more thing."
