"Chenle! It's such a pleasure to meet you!" Jinae's mother opened the door, greeting the Chinese male who smiled awkwardly.
Friday had come in a flash for the two teens. "Miss Bae, I uh..I brought some fruits as a gift for letting me into your home." Chenle smiled sweetly.
"Oh Chenle you didn't have to really. Thank you though!" She gave the younger a warm smile, letting him in and leading him to the living room.
"Jinae, you should greet him." Jinae turned her head from the couch to see Chenle standing beside her mum. Jinae didn't have to be stupid to know he was nervous.
"Hi Lele~" Jinae put her hand out for a high five, which, Chenle happily replied. "Yo wassup Chenman!" It was Jinyoung.
He was apart of the basketball team, like Chenle. "Alright Jin, why don't we let them go hang out. No funny business." Ms Bae looked them dead in the eyes before shooing them away to upstairs.
Walking up the stairs, Jinae says, "My mum is a bit too excited about me having a guy over, sorry.." "No it's alright, really. It's kinda fun."
Jinae chuckled at his words and showed him her room. Wasn't too small yet wasn't too big. It was minimalist yet still aesthetic and comforting.
"What do you wanna do?" Chenle asked. Suddenly, Jinae's whole face lit up with excitement.
"I have an idea."

"Jinae~" Chenle called to her from behind. They were walking along the river peacefully. "Are you gonna go to Mark's birthday?"
Jinae nearly forgot about it. A few hours ago, Mark had messaged the group chat about a huge party he was holding for his birthday. But, knowing Mark, it probably wasn't gonna be that huge of a party.
"I'lol probably go, you?" "I'll go if you go. I mean it's on Sunday so..there's only a few days to think about it. I'll pick you up too if you want." Chenle wrapped his arms around Jinae's shoulders from behind, holding her warmly and tight.
"I'll probably go then."
