Chapter 5 - Goals

                                    

                                          

Phoenix was quite curious on what Joker's plan was. Well he knows the overall plan. You know, steal all parts of the crown, find a way to destroy the necklace and the crown. That thing.
What Phoenix was curious about was the full detailed plan Joker will come up. This mission of theirs is quite difficult if not planned well.
So when Joker called them over for a meeting, Phoenix volunteered to gather everyone together.
All he had to do was find Blue. Which was easy. Because he knows 100% where Blue is.
Phoenix walked up and smiled as he saw Blue staring off into oblivion.  "Blue! Joker has something to say!" he yelled. Blue looked behind him to see Phoenix. The captain smiled. "I'm coming- I'm coming." he said.
But Phoenix knew Blue will take a few more minutes before he joins them, so he drags Blue inside the Sky Joker. He'll ask Blue what was he thinking about later.
Once they reached the living room, Joker was sitting down on the couch as the others surrounded him.

"So let me get this straight. It won't be an issue for us to steal the crown pieces at all. But the problem will be finding the information that'll destroy the necklace and the crown?" Shadow asked, crossing his arms. "Yes. Our main goal, besides from stealing the remaining parts of the Ith crown is to find books, scrolls, whatever is deemed useful to us in order to get rid of the necklace and the crown to ensure that this won't happen ever again. No wars over the crown, no controlling someone, none of that." Joker said.
"Let's focus on our goal. And I'm sure we'll succeed. If all else fails, I'm sure a miracle will happen one way or another." he said.



The group had travelled for about 5 hours. And those were the slowest 5 hours of Phoenix's life. Finally landing at the supposed location, Phoenix happily flapped his wings. "We're here!" He said, excitement in his voice. "Someone is excited." Dump pointed out as he stretched his legs.
"Who wouldn't be excited?" Rose said as she stood up from the chair she was sitting on. "Just remember to stick together." Lupin said, as he adjusted his hat. "Yes, we don't know what to expect at all. So it's best to be cautious." Shadow said. "Wow- Shadow being careful." Joker teased. "Sure Joker, sure." Shadow said, giving Joker an annoyed look.
"Now, let's get exploring!" Phoenix said.



Let's just say exploring went poorly. The group reached how many dead ends in the mysterious maze that surrounded the temple the King's Kingdom was situated in. After about 13 hours later, the group finally found the entrance to the temple.
"Why didn't you just FLY UP EARLIER! WE COULD HAVE SAVED SO MUCH TIME!!!" Shadow shouted. "I wanted to experience the essence of a maze, Shadow. Something you do not know how to appreciate." Phoenix replied, crossing his arms.
"Guys, what matters is that we finally escaped that horrid maze." Dump said. "Agree." Joker said, as he pulled out the map once again. "Now the real hunt begins." he said.

The group then entered the temple and were met with 2 long and dark hallways to explore. "The map doesn't say which of the hallways is the right one." Joker said. "Great-" Shadow complained. "We'll just have to pick one!" Rose said.

- Shadow is too tired for this-
- Phoenix has too much energy for everything
- This is the first chapter that requires the readers decision ^^. Remember it'll affect how the story goes.
