Also, I was playing Dead Cells and Hades and completely forgot about the Indie Gamer. Sorry about that, I missed some uploads. Dead Cells are just too addicting.

The slimes massive arm grabbed me and then threw me to the wall, I used a burst of soul to release my self from its grip. I landed on the ground causing a small dust cloud, I dashed at the slime and tried to pierce it using the stinger.
The frozen small slime cracked, the cracks spread over its body until it roared and released itself from the ice. I was hit by the small slime causing me to fly to the wall and slam into it, my shoulder's armor broke and shattered into small pieces.
My vision was starting to get wavy, it's because of the air of infection. I wobbled to the side, the slimes slowly surrounded me their jelly bodies were shaking with hunger. The small one was the first to attack, it was very quick to launch onto my back and start consuming my armor.
I screamed out in a mixture of pain and agony, I grabbed the slime and then threw it away. I charged up a Great Slash in my nail, I saw the big slime back away after seeing its smaller counterpart thrown away. I dashed at the big slime and released the great slash causing a massive slash to appear on its body.
'That didn't do anything... I can't fucking die here, not while Hornet still breathes.' The slime formed bumps of jelly around the slash, the bumps multiplied until it covered with slash. I was attacked from behind again, the little slime instead of aiming for my back it latched onto my leg.
I fell onto my knee's the big slime approached, the little slime tied itself around my leg and stuck onto the ground, making it, so I could not stand up. The giant slime created small tendrils that wrapped around my neck gently, it then yanked on my neck and started to strangle me.
I held the tendrils and tried to rip them off of my neck, but they were too strong. My neck started to hurt, it burned like someone had put burning iron against my flesh. My head started to turn sideways, the pain was unstoppable and came in waves. My neck cracked, and then it fell off, this was truly the end...
/3rd POV/
Excursion's head plopped off and landed on the ground, within Excursion there was a black kingdom. It had small circles of black energy floating around, it looked similar to the White Palance, but its image was tainted by darkness. The walls were broken and pieces of it were floating, inside the Palance there sat a massive being.
This being was known as the Shade Lord, the combined might of all shades birthed from the Pale King's sins. Even though he had infinite rage towards the Pale King and Gods he was not controlled by it. The Shade Lord was actually very calm and kind after all he does not want to end up as an anger controlled being.
The Shade Lord sat down on a massive throne made of liquid void. From the throne tendrils of void latched onto the walls and hang there suspended, the Shade Lord was watching Excursion through a pool of soul and void.
Shade Lord: "He died... I can't allow that, this opportunity he gave us cannot be wasted. We should be able to revive him, we don't follow by the rules of that system of his since we are an entirely different entity than him. So by manifesting ourselves out of his body we should be able to revive him, of course this would come with some side effects."
The Shade Lord had a piece of Excursion within him due to Excursion gaining the Birthright, because of that he could view most memories except some of them. These memories included his past and his system.
The Shade Lord made a portal opened above him, he flew into the portal. The slimes were eating Excursions dead corpse, when suddenly a massive black being appeared. This was the Shade Lord obviously, the Shade Lord screamed with rage causing a wave of void to cover the slimes and send them far away.
The Shade Lord looked at Excursions corpse that was slumped over on the floor, his body had been torn open and ripped to shreds. The Shade Lord picked up Excursions body and then used one of its arms to cover Excursion in void.
Excursions body began to change rapidly, it still had the same looks as before but with some changes. Specifically with its gender, due to Excursions body being reformed his usually genderless body turned into one of a male. The infectious air retreated as Excursions body began to float, the Shade Lord was visibly getting weaker and weaker.
Excursions head formed again with its familiar crack and orange eye, no matter how much he tried to get rid of it the orange eye still stayed. The Shade Lord panted as it put down Excursion and then disappeared into darkness.
Shade Lord: "Your time is not up Excursion, our anger is still unquenched. But, we will wait like the night who stalks the sun waiting to take its place in the sky. Do as you want but know that I, the Shade Lord will watch and support from the darkness."
/Excursion POV/
