She doesn't know how long it's been, She's been opening these damnable doors for so long now. Every room she entered was glorious to behold, but at this point, She was so fed up with it all it no longer registered to her. She killed every angel she passed, not like they caused her trouble considering they couldn't even see her, she was just at the boiling point of her rage and was lashing out at anything she could see. The angels were starting to get wary as word passed through the castle of an invisible wind tearing the heavens apart.
"A new magic made by the demons perhaps? or is it from the abomination" one of the angels said, her wings anxiously rustling as she shot a bolt of light at the coming wind.
"What ever it is, we must not let it reach the sovereign" another answered, this one male. He set up a barrier encompassing the hallway to stop the thing from going further upstairs as more angels arrived, with a archangel among them. Their attacks were endless, blinding beams of light, balls of holy fire, and brilliant strikes of lightning assaulted the oncoming calamity, but it continued on it's warpath. Angels started rushing ahead weapons at the ready, but the moment they touched that malevolent gale, they collapsed, their soul sucked away. No matter what the angels did they couldn't stop it, that is, until the archangel released her attack. A massive explosion of holy magic that affects all creatures deemed evil. The wind stopped for a moment, and the tension in the room went taut, then it resumed, more furious then before. Everyone in the room could've sworn they heard laughter permeating through the air. The spell did not effect her simply because death cannot be considered evil, be they sinner or saint, it will come for all. Confusion struck the archangel, before it turned into horror as she realized what it is. before she could warn the others, the wind blew past them all and the room went silent. The thing continued up the steps, paying the corpses no heed. The creature felt relaxed, no longer furious due to that farce of a battle, but she was still lost. Wandering around, she found something that shouldn't have belonged here, A girl, wearing a brown coat and a funny looking hat. she was holding a strange device, a circular object with three hands moving at a set interval, it was producing a rather annoying ticking noise. When the girl saw her, she sighed in relief. She spoke in a language she could not understand, and then gestured for her to follow. She felt both a sense of wrongness and familiarity from her, as if she met her before. She tried to recall, but nothing came to her mind, in fact, she couldn't even remember her name. She immediately panicked, fuck fuck fuck who am I? did I even exist? wait no, I remember dying, meeting Death and the metallic queen, oh and that annoying nephilim but then...Oh no.. oh no no no.
She was pulled out of her reverie when the girl in the coat spread out her arms and wrapped it around her. A hug. This is a hug. I remember that. She hesitated, and put her bony arms around the girl as well. It was rather awkward, but comforting, this is the first time she felt warm for as long as she could remember, which isn't much, but it relaxed her. She also noticed the voices inside her head seemed to quiet as certain serenity overcame the both of them and this continued for a few seconds before the girl let go and once again gestured for her to follow and disappeared down a hallway. A few twists and turns later before she wondered how the girl survived being so close to her. The angels died just getting near her, the archangel was severely weakened, but her? she was perfectly fine, walking silently through the corridor. She was about to open her mouth before the girl turned around and pointed towards a set of doors, the most grandest in the castle, an image of a rising sun made with glittering gold with angels flying all around. It was incredibly obvious at this point which door this was. She had finally reached her destination. She moved to thank the girl, but she disappeared, she couldn't even sense her, as if she literally vanished from the face of this world. She may be gone, but she has a feeling she would meet her again, maybe sooner than she thinks. Again her mind wandered to the nephilim being chased by an army of angels outside, wasn't she annoyed at her? strangely the feelings gone, in fact, she felt almost nothing, as if her emotions were being drained from her. It didn't matter to her anymore though. As long as she could get the job done, that is all. She stepped through the gate, not even bothering to opening them as she is as incorporeal as a ghost. What awaited her beyond the gate however was an army of angels and archangels surrounding every inch of the room, weapons pointed at the double doors. A feeling of dejavu washed over her, she was pretty sure she went into this exact same position before and it ended rather badly for her. There was a figure standing on a golden throne before the massive flock of angels. She couldn't see very well though, as the room was bright, incredibly bright, enough that it overwhelmed her reaper senses. This is the biggest gathering of angels in all of existence. She heard the voices in her head again, no longer a whisper but a scream, the voices were incomprehensible, but she was able to make out one word amongst the chaos.Kill
This day marks the fall of holy beings, the day where the sun died and the first piece of a grander plan.
