"Hey Dawn, can I talk to you?" Bonnie asks Dawn 
"Sure Bonnie, what's up?" Dawn responds 
"In private?" 
"Oh, Sure." The two walk away to a more private spot. 
"Dawn, do you like Ash?" The little girl asks her friend. 
"What? No way!" 
"Are you sure?" Bonnie smirks 
"Yes I'm sure, we're just best friends, that's all." 
"Oh really? Then why did you say you like someone else when I asked you to take care of Clemont?" Dawn was silent. 
"So, who do you like? Is it Ash?" 
"No, it's not Ash." 
"Yes it is! I can tell by the way you act towards him!" 
"No Bonnie, I don't like Ash." 
"Come on just admit it, you like Ash!" 
"Okay fine, I have feelings for Ash, okay?" 
"YAY!" Bonnie squeals 
"When are you gonna tell him how you feel?" 
"I'm not going to Bonnie, it doesn't matter anyways." 
"What do you mean it doesn't matter?" 
"He doesn't like me back." Dawn says in a sad tone. 
"What do you mean?" 
"He doesn't feel the same way. He probably likes Serena or some girl he used to travel with." 
"How do you know that? You haven't asked if he even likes anyone." 
"It doesn't matter Bonnie. Let's go get some sleep." Dawn walks off.
The next morning... "Hey Ash?" Serena says, breaking the silence at breakfast. 
"What's up Serena?" Ash says, smiling. 
"Do you have any other strong pokemon other than Infernape Pikachu and Greninja?" 
"Yeah, a whole lot. All that I know other than Pikachu Greninja and Infernape is Charizard, Sceptile, Noctowl, Donphan, Gible, Snorlax, Heracross, Quilava, Buizel, Staraptor, Torterra, Gliscor, Unfezant, Pignite, Oshawott, Snivy, Scraggy, Leavanny, Boldore, Palpitoad, and Krookodile." Dawn answers for Ash. 
"Yeah but I sent off my Primeape, Pidgeot, and Lapras to be with family or train." Ash finishes the list. 
"Wow... that's a lot of strong Pokémon..." Serena is in shock. 
"Yeah, I've traveled for a long time." 
"You have? When I first saw you in Kalos I thought Pikachu and Greninja were your only Pokémon." 
"No, they were just the only Pokémon I was using. I've traveled through Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova before coming to Kalos." 
"Wow and I thought Kalos was your first!" Serena says, blushing. 
(Yeah no doubt about it, Serena's blushing. So she does have feelings for me, but I love Dawn not her.)
(Ash is so strong! I just have to make him mine so we can live together for the rest of our lives! But to do that, I have to get rid of Dawn.) 
(Is Serena trying to butter him up? I know she's obsessed with him.) Dawn gazes towards Serena.
"Ash, can me and Bonnie speak with you privately please?" Clemont asks as Ash finishes his breakfast. 
"Sure!" Ash walks away with the Siblings. 
"So Ash, Bonnie was telling me about something this morning." 
"What's up?" 
"Dawn said you have a Gible, but Bonnie only remembers seeing you with a Gabite before Serena joined us." 
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell Dawn that my Gible evolved!" Ash remembers. 
"Oh, well that's all I had to ask." 
"It's not really private, Clemont. You could have asked me at the table." 
"Yeah but I could tell that you were getting tired of the constant questions so I thought I'd ask in private so no one gets any more ideas." 
"Wow, thanks Clemont. Let's go back." 
"Bonnie go on ahead, I wanna talk to Ash a little bit more." 
"Okay Brother!" Bonnie runs back to the girls with Dedenne. 
"Clemont, what else did you wanna ask?" 
"Ash, I noticed you were stuttering when I asked about your day before we went to sleep last night, and you were talking in your sleep all night. Is everything okay?" 
"Yeah, no need to worry." Ash starts to walk away. 
"Ash, wait." Clemont puts his hand on Ash's shoulder to stop him. 
"Yeah? What's up?" 
"Ash, tell me." 
"Fine, guess I couldn't hide it for long." 
"What's going on Ash?" 
"I'm in love with someone." 
"Really? Is it Serena?" Clemont says, hoping he says no. 
"No Clemont, It's Dawn." 
"Wow, I'm so happy for you Ash! When are you gonna tell her how you feel?" 
"I'm not, she doesn't feel the same." Ash says, in a sad tone. 
"How do you know that?" 
"Because she probably likes her childhood friend Kenny" 
"How do you know that?" Ash stays silent.
"You're still not sure if she feels the same, so you should tell her before it's too late okay?" 
"Fine Clemont, I'll think about it." Ash already knew exactly when and where he would tell Dawn how he feels.
