Bettys POV
I had finished up my costume and I smiled looking at myself as Veronica called me.
I answered saying "hey, I'm ready and you're gonna love my costume!" 
She laughed saying "I hope so, I always love your ideas." 
I smiled and said "alright I'll be right there..." 
I set my phone down as my mom saw me and smiled "my little angel..." 
I laughed and she kissed my forehead saying "well I know you love Romeo and Juliet but where's your Romeo?" 
I smiled and gulped saying "I...don't care if I'm flying solo. Get it?" 
We both laughed as she sighed at the end "alright I suppose. I'm gonna head to the Southside to clear up some things with some of the members, apparently a Northsider was brought up from the school, of course Jughead is at his things again..." 
I said "you know him?" 
She said "of course, he's next in line to be the serpent King once I retire, but that's not for a long time." 
I gulped and said "what did you mean by his things?" 
She laughed saying "bringing a girl from the Northside? I mean his father and all of his friends know that he's...a ladies man. His father was the same way at his age." 
I gulped saying "he is?" 
She said "yeah, whatever you do don't ever approach him sweetheart, you have no idea how many girls come to me telling me the same thing, he uses for...his acts than leaves. And I don't want my baby girl to be taken advantage of. He has practically kissed the whole Southside...well...teen girls of the Southside. I don't want him doing the same to you because you are my beautiful, smart innocent girl." 
I began crying and she said "oh sweetheart...it's okay..." 
She hugged me and said "I'm never ever letting that boy touch you." 
I gulped and hugged her saying "I love you mom..." 
She said "hey...it's Halloween okay? I want you to be with your friends and have a wonderful time, no tears, he's not here." 
I nodded and she said "I'll drive." 
I nodded saying "I'll meet you downstairs." 
She left and I saw my phone ringing, I grabbed it as I saw Jugheads caller I.D and I sighed and silenced it and I put my phone with my stuff in my purse and left. When I got to the party I saw Veronica and she saw me and ran over quickly.
She said "there are three bowls of special spirit drink but here's your soda." 
I gulped and said "thanks..." 
My phone was ringing again and I sighed turning it off. "I want to have the best time of my life." 
She laughed and said "alright." 
I set down the cola and said "I want more..." 
She scoffed and said "well than let's party up!" 
I laughed and she gave me a glass and we began to party.
Jugheads POV
I called Betty again and I threw my phone on the table when I again, go no response. I groaned as suddenly Alice Smith walked in and I gulped and she came up to me smiling but not in a good way. 
"I heard about the little Northsider you brought in." She told me.
I groaned saying under my breath "dammit Toni..." 
She said "you want that leadership right?" 
I agreed "yes..." 
She smirked "you bring another Northsider here kid...you won't hear the last of it." 
I gulped and said "of course..." 
She said "I don't want any Northsider messing with my family so get your shit together." 
I sighed and said "but can I be honest, the girl is a serpent! She sure acts like one!" 
She stopped and I said "maybe she can." 
She turned around and said "Jughead...you have slept with every single girl here. I don't care what this Northsider did, but I will tell you this, no Northsider will be in my gang. And you should know that, if I see this girl again here she won't be coming out." 
She left and I sighed as I called Betty again and nothing once again...I groaned and left the Wyrm. I was driving around and I saw everyone entering a building. 
I grabbed one of them saying "why is everyone going there." 
He shoved me off saying "the Lodge Halloween party, but you're not allowed get out." 
He went in and I groaned and I went inside. As I got to the floor it was big bright lights and all with so many kids drinking and shouting and screaming making out and all. I suddenly saw Betty with her friend Veronica and a table. 
I panicked "crap..." 
I got closer and said "Betty!" 
She didn't listen and continued dancing. 
I shouted "Betty!" 
She saw me and groaned and I grabbed her arm and lifted her over my shoulder as she squealed.
"Let go of me!" 
I brought her outside and set her down as she said "I'm going in!" 
She almost fell and I grabbed her "your drunk so no!" 
She said "well your the one who lied to me, so now let me have my fun!" 
I grabbed her saying "nope. Because you will kill yourself." 
She said "I don't care I kissed you and had to find out all you do is want sex! Let me go!" 
I gulped and did and she said "I can't believe...I trusted you. I can't believe...I kissed you...just so I have to hear that every girl you sleep with you drop, and I don't want to loose my virginity to someone who isn't loyal...I'm still a virgin! I want it to be romantic! I want to feel loved! And you...you will just use me and leave! I won't have that." 
I stopped her and said "hey...I've changed." 
She laughed "as if...said by every bad boy in every movie." 
I said "Betty...let's get you home." 
She shook her head "my mom will freak out...what about yours?" 
I laughed saying "nope my dad has a visitor..." 
She groaned and said "my dad...call my dad he will understand more." 
I laughed saying "yeah no come on." 
She squealed and I got her on my bike.
As I clipped on my helmet to her she said "why did you lie to me?" 
I sighed and said "let's get somewhere safe and talk okay?" 
She cried and I took off my jacket and got it on her "it's gonna be okay..." 
She looked at me half sleepy, half drunk. She nodded and I held her tightly as I drove off.
